At Unlearn, our purpose is to advance artificial intelligence (AI) to eliminate trial and error in medicine. At Unlearn, we use deep learning-based methods to create Digital Twins—simulations of how a patient’s disease progresses under different treatments. By predicting disease progression on placebo, we can design more efficient, smaller clinical trials across all therapeutic areas. The result is faster and more efficient clinical trials, leading to faster patient outcomes.

As the Head of Product, you will play a key role in taking our cutting-edge technology and turning it into entirely new products from the ground up—work that is truly 0-to-1. You’ll lead the development of innovative product strategies that leverage our AI platform and collaborate across engineering, data science, biostatistics, and clinical teams. You’ll be responsible for creating entirely new products that are at the intersection of AI and healthcare, shaping the future of clinical trials and accelerating the drug development process.

You’ll work with company leadership to translate this vision into a concrete product roadmap and lead your team in delivering transformative solutions. This role requires a combination of strategic thinking and hands-on execution—transforming ambitious concepts into tangible, impactful products.

Role Responsibilities

• Define and Drive Product Strategy: Lead the development of a clear, actionable product roadmap, from ideation to execution, based on the broader vision for transforming clinical trials through AI.

• Zero-to-One Product Development: Spearhead the creation of entirely new products, working from the ground up to develop solutions that leverage our AI technology to solve key challenges in healthcare.

• Inspire Innovation: Build a culture of experimentation, ensuring product decisions are data-driven and based on rigorous testing and feedback.

• Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with engineering, data science, biostatistics, clinical scientists, and business development teams to build cohesive products that meet the needs of our users and customers.

• Customer-Centric Product Development: Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and challenges to inform the creation of tailored products that drive value and innovation.

• Lead Product Team: Build, coach, and lead a high-performing product team, helping them execute the roadmap while maintaining focus on innovation and strategic impact.

Your qualifications

• Bachelor's degree. An MBA or relevant advanced degree is preferred.

• Minimum of 10-15 years of progressive experience in product management, with a significant portion in leadership roles overseeing more than one function.

• Proven Leadership: You’ve led product teams and taken new products from concept to reality, including the development of entirely new offerings (0-to-1 products).

• Quantitative and Technical Expertise: You hold a B.S. in a quantitative field (advanced degree a plus) and are comfortable working with AI, data science, and other advanced technologies in healthcare.

• Proven Product Execution: A track record of defining and executing product roadmaps, and delivering products that have had a measurable impact.

• Experience with Healthcare and Biotech: Experience building AI-powered products for healthcare, biotech, or pharma, with a deep understanding of industry-specific challenges.

• Cross-functional Collaboration: Expertise in collaborating with diverse teams, from machine learning and software engineering to clinical scientists and business development, to bring innovative products to life.

• Data-Driven and Customer-Focused: A strong ability to leverage data to drive product decisions and an unrelenting focus on solving real-world customer problems through innovative product solutions.
