Job Description

We are looking for a digital product lead to manage the VirGeo’s product vision, strategy, and execution. Our ideal candidate is a big thinker who is able to drive this development from concept to market adoption.

As part of Management Team VirGeo, you work on our innovative cloud-hosted platform. We seek to transform the way our clients interact with Geo-data. This platform serves as a single source of truth that helps our clients visually track project progress, gain early insights, and drive toward success – all in near real-time.

In order to meet targets, you employ a user-centric approach, engaging closely with users to understand their needs. Your ability to observe, think critically and to solve problems using data, analysis, and interpretation is essential to the development of VirGeo.

As our product manager, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders across the organization—including engineering, data science, sales and marketing, and customer success—to ensure the product meets the highest standards in terms of scalability, security, and user experience.

  Your role 

• You drive the development and execution of the product roadmap;

• Your target is to create recurring revenue for Fugro, this involves aligning product development with Fugro’s long-term strategic goals, while if need be, simultaneously enabling regional teams to adapt and deliver customized solutions to meet local market demands;

• You build and manage an organization with teams of industry-leading experts
  (whizzkids) including product owners, data scientists, software developers,
  data architects, and business analysts;

• You ensure best practice in safety security and continuity are embedded in product developed;

• You define and communicate a global product vision that aligns with Fugro’s mission and long-term business goals;

• You analyse key market trends, customer feedback, and competitive landscape to guide the evolution of the platform;

• You will be one of the key leaders in the go-to-market execution, working alongside VirGeo commercial director to develop a go-to-market strategy that drives global adoption and growth.

Your track record 

• You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer sciences, engineering or business;

• You have a minimum of 8+ years’ experience in commercial and technical success in Saas industy, including at least 3 years of experience in leading cross functional teams;  

• You show experience with product management of integrated systems where you successfully managed a product from ideation through a successful adoption;  

• You have a background in Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence and Product Development;

• You have proven experience in influencing and inspiring diverse groups of people sitting across various geographic locations to work as team.
