As the Head of Product for YouVersion Partners, you will lead Product Managers, set strategy, and be responsible for the impact of our YouVersion Partners products. You’ll collaborate closely with the Head of Product (Family of Apps) as well as engineering, design, marketing, content, data, and global teams to support the growth and success of YouVersion Connect and YouVersion Insights products.

The Head of Product for YouVersion Partners will oversee and steward the tools and platforms that serve this ever-growing audience, continually leading teams to deliver greater impact and increasing value to our partners who provide premier Biblical content.


In this role, you will work collaboratively with other senior leaders to ensure mission alignment and sustain strong product-market fit under the leadership and direction of the Chief Product Officer.

What You’ll Do

  • Meet with direct reports regularly to provide support through coaching and setting expectations.
  • Lead the Product Management team to develop product requirements, prioritize product roadmaps, define outcomes, and coordinate product releases.
  • Lead the Product Managers and the Partners product team to deliver on KPI’s and user value.
  • Oversee each team to ensure continuous review and optimization efforts.
  • Create development plans for team and assist them in achieving desired goals.
  • Provide direct support setting and maintaining the department budget.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners and Product Managers to set long-term vision for YouVersion product.
  • Communicate vision and strategy for accomplishing objectives to YouVersion Product and Partners product team.
  • Partner with other YouVersion team leaders to coordinate building and launching new features and products.
  • Analyze market trends, user feedback, and performance data to guide product development.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure product alignment with user needs and ministry goals.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous product improvement.

Skills Needed to Succeed

  • Ability to self-motivate, keep up with market trends and research, and problem solve with innovation.
  • Effective at multi-tasking and time management to meet strict deadlines while remaining flexible and open to change.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and oral communication skills to clearly explain complicated processes and foster partnerships.
  • Effective at process and organizational management to coordinate, structure and provide vision to projects.
  • Strong leadership skills and understanding on developing and guiding others.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or related field, Master’s preferred.
  • 10+ years of related work experience in leading product management teams, including a proven record in app, and web-based SaaS development.
