What you can expect

Zoom is seeking a strategic and results-oriented Product Operations leader to join our dynamic Product team. This is a leadership role responsible for building and scaling a world-class product operations function. You will drive operational excellence across the product organization. You will focus on empowering product teams by providing them with the right processes, tools—including AI tools—and data. This will help drive productivity, consistency, and a culture of product adoption and usage. This support will enable them to build and launch exceptional products that delight customers and drive business growth.
 

About the Team

As the Product Operations Lead, your goal will be to scale product innovation and execution best practices while streamlining product launches. You will also leverage AI tools to drive productivity and develop the product's strategic narrative. You will be a master of efficiency, a data-driven decision-maker, and a passionate advocate for continuous improvement.

You will collaborate across functions with leaders in product management, data science, product marketing, engineering, design, support, marketing, strategy, finance, and sales. Responsibilities

  • Driving new product introductions from concept to launch by collaborating with cross-functional teams and tracking post-launch success.

  • Developing content and strategic narrative across the product organization by aligning with company and product strategy.

  • Championing data-driven decision making by developing standardized product metrics, partnering with Data Science, and providing insights that inform product strategy.

  • Evaluating, adopting, and implementing tools—including AI solutions—across the product organization to boost productivity.

  • Fostering alignment and communication across product, engineering, design, marketing, sales, and support to ensure clarity on strategy, timelines, and dependencies.

  • Facilitating strategic planning processes with strategy, finance, and product leadership to develop and regularly refresh the product roadmap.

  • Establishing and optimizing scalable product development processes, maintaining centralized documentation, and promoting knowledge sharing.

  • Running product QBRs and building a high-performing product operations team through effective leadership, mentorship, and development initiatives.
     

What we’re looking for 

  • Have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent advanced degree is highly advantageous.

  • Bring 12+ years experience in product management, product operations, or related roles, with a proven ability to build and scale product operations in technology-driven environments.

  • Demonstrate a long-standing track record (10+ years) of successfully building, leading, and developing high-performing teams in leadership roles.

  • Demonstrate robust analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights using product analytics platforms and data tools. Experience in building & tracking product adoption metrics & dashboard in close partnership with product leads & data science.

  • Have experience in building product narrative and content to clearly communicate product strategy and execution plan to an executive audience

  • Exhibit exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.

  • Apply strategic thinking to solve complex problems and make data-informed decisions.

  • Bring expertise in product management and collaboration tools, including AI tools

Salary Range or On Target Earnings:

Minimum:

$146 700,00

Maximum:

$339 300,00

In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value.

Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.

We also have a location based compensation structure;  there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations
