About Port
Port is the Agentic SDLC Platform. The way engineering teams build software is constantly evolving, and every new wave - such as AI agents operating across the SDLC - makes engineering more powerful, but also more complex and chaotic. Port turns that chaos into control: one platform to build, govern, and operate the software development lifecycle, enabling every team to move as fast as technology allows.
Following our $100M Series C funding round, we are entering an exciting stage of significant growth and global expansion. As a product-led company, we believe the recipe for success is a world-class product that speaks for itself.
As Port continues to scale, we’re looking for a Head of Product Marketing to define and drive our product marketing strategy. You'll shape Port's market positioning, ensure our unique value is clearly communicated to technical and business audiences, and equip our GTM teams to execute effectively. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role for someone who brings deep technical fluency and sharp go-to-market instincts.
What You Will Do
- Define and own Port’s product marketing strategy, partnering closely with Product, Sales, SEs, CSMs, and Engineering to align messaging, positioning, and GTM execution.
- Craft compelling narratives and technical messaging that resonate with platform engineers, DevOps teams, and other technical buyers—turning complex concepts into crisp, clear stories.
- Lead launch strategy for new features and integrations, including enablement, comms, and asset development.
- Manage the company’s AR/PR strategy.
- Build and manage demo environments that showcase our capabilities across different use cases and personas.
- Enable sellers and partners through content, playbooks, and training that translate technical value into business value.
- Drive market education in a category that is still emerging—through webinars, partner content, documentation, and external thought leadership.
- Manage and grow a team of product marketers and content creators as the function scales.
- 7+ years in product marketing with 3+ years in a leadership capacity.
- Strong technical proficiency (e.g., working with APIs, JSON, YAML, developer tools).
- Deep empathy for AI, platform engineers, DevOps, and the buying journey of technical teams.
- Proven ability to craft messaging that connects technical and business value.
- Experience launching products, running demos, and enabling cross-functional teams.
- A track record of working cross-functionally and managing high-impact projects from start to finish.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to executives, customers, and at industry events.
The annual salary range for this role is US$240,000-$270,000 in total compensation.
Annual salary ranges may vary by geographic location.
All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or any other status protected by applicable national, federal, state, or local law.
