Your impact

Product marketing at Mollie sits at the intersection of what we build and how the world understands it. As Head of Product Marketing, you will lead the team responsible for bringing our products to market in a way that is clear, compelling, and built around what our customers actually need. This is a role with real weight: you will shape how over 250,000 businesses across Europe experience and adopt Mollie's growing product suite.

You will not just set direction. You will get into the work yourself, owning flagship go-to-market initiatives, setting the standard for quality, and showing the team what great looks like. You will work closely with Product, Growth, and Brand to make sure every launch lands with impact and every message earns its place.

What you'll ship:

  • Lead & Inspire – Build, develop, and mentor a world-class product marketing team that delivers best-in-class product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies. Identify opportunities for upskilling and help to shape individual career paths. Support in both personal and professional growth.

  • Develop the Go-To-Market Playbook – Refine and scale Mollie’s go-to-market framework to ensure repeatable, high-impact launches and sustained product growth across all markets.

  • Go-To-Market Execution – Personally take ownership of the company’s flagship go-to-market initiatives, ensuring best-in-class execution and setting the standard for excellence. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute high-impact product launches that drive awareness and adoption

  • Identify customer needs – Understand their needs deeply, gather insights, and quickly adapt our strategy based on real-world feedback. Stay highly informed about customer segments, market dynamics, and the competitive landscape to craft impactful go-to-market strategies

  • Drive Product Adoption – Own the entire product lifecycle from positioning to activation, ensuring that our products resonate with customers and drive growth.

  • Narrative and Content creation – Work closely with product and brand teams to craft compelling value propositions and key messaging, ensuring a seamless customer experience across all touch points. Create high-impact marketing content, including presentations, case studies, and product videos to educate both customers as well as internal teams on Mollie’s product offering

  • Measure and optimize – Leverage customer insights and market intelligence to refine product marketing efforts. Track performance, analyze data, and continuously optimize strategies to maximize impact

  • Guide the roadmap with senior stakeholders – Work with senior leadership across various teams to drive the go-to-market work forward and align priorities. Actively communicate and educate other teams about the roadmap to ensure effective collaboration.

What you'll bring:

  • Proven Leadership – 12+ years in product marketing, with at least 4 years in a leadership role within a high-growth tech, fintech, or SaaS company.

  • Hands-On Execution – A strong ability to not just lead but also execute on key go-to-market initiatives, working directly on the most strategic go-to-market activities alongside your team.

  • Deep Product Understanding – An ability to grasp the intricacies of Mollie’s products and leverage this knowledge to craft highly effective go-to-market campaigns.

  • Go-to-market track record – A track record of launching and scaling B2B products, with deep expertise in messaging, positioning, and go-to-market execution

  • Taste: You have proven to possess strong judgement and ‘taste’ in the different go-to-market initiatives that you’ve worked on. You care about the details, such as aesthetics, wording and quality of the assets we produce.

  • Fintech Passion – Strong understanding of financial technology and digital product development, with an ability to translate technical capabilities into customer value.

  • Customer-First Mindset – A natural ability to connect with customers, extract meaningful insights, and translate them into actionable marketing strategies.

  • Data-Driven Approach – Strong analytical skills with experience leveraging data to drive marketing strategy and execution.

  • Exceptional Communication – Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, crafting compelling narratives that drive alignment and action.

  • Global Mindset – Experience working across multiple markets, balancing central strategies with localised execution.

  • Language Skills – English fluency is required; additional fluency in German, Dutch, or French is a plus.
