We're looking for a Head of Product Development who will lead the creation, development, and successful market launch of our K-beauty-inspired skincare products. Based in Berlin and working closely with our Korean partners, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping Yepoda’s product pipeline — combining innovation, brand fit, and commercial success in every formula.

• Lead the full end-to-end product development process from concept and formulation to production, compliance, and launch

• Translate global trends and K-beauty innovation into product ideas that resonate with our customers and deliver business value

• Own the product innovation roadmap, prioritizing projects based on strategic fit, financial opportunity, and brand relevance

• Collaborate with labs and manufacturers in Korea on formulation, packaging, pricing, and timelines

• Optimize development costs, packaging decisions, and formulation trade-offs to meet target margins and pricing strategy

• Drive collaboration across Brand, Marketing, Operations, Design, Regulatory, and Quality teams to ensure smooth execution

• Champion sustainability and embed eco-friendly, clean beauty practices into every stage of development

• Ensure compliance with EU cosmetic regulations, managing testing, documentation, and certifications

• Build, lead, and mentor a small team of product developers and technical experts

• Oversee timelines, budgets, risks, and resource allocation to ensure high-quality launches

• Partner with leadership on pricing, go-to-market strategy, and demand forecasting

• Degree in Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, Product Development, or related field

• 5–7+ years of experience in skincare or cosmetics development, including 3+ years in a leadership role

• Deep knowledge of K-beauty trends, formulation processes, and skincare innovation

• Proven success in launching skincare products in EU markets

• Experience working directly with Korean suppliers and manufacturers

• Strong commercial mindset with confidence in negotiation, cost-optimization, pricing, and margin contribution

• Highly organized with excellent project management and leadership skills

• Skilled in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration

• Fluent in English; Korean language skills are a strong plus
