Head of Product Design

As Head of Product Design, you’ll define and drive the vision for how design and research shape Rohlik’s future. You will lead and grow a team of Product Designers and UX Researchers across customer-facing products and internal systems—driving clarity, consistency, and quality at scale.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Setting and executing a multi-market design & research strategy across customer-facing UIs and internal systems.

• Building and scaling DesignOps & ResearchOps — including processes, tooling, user panels, and experimentation cadence.

• Hiring, developing, and mentoring Product Designers and UX Researchers; fostering a culture of feedback, critique, and growth.

• Embedding customer insights and usability testing into product development.

• Partnering closely with Product, Engineering, Analytics, and Operations to co-pilot product strategy and define success metrics (CES, conversion, retention, task success).

• Acting as a cross-functional leader — removing roadblocks, resolving conflicts, and ensuring delivery of key initiatives.

• Representing the design and research craft both internally and externally as a true ambassador for quality, learning, and outcomes.

You’ll be part of the Product Leadership Team, shaping strategy and driving measurable business impact through design.

We’re looking for a strategic and hands-on design leader who combines craft excellence with operational rigor and a data-driven mindset.

You should bring:

• 8+ years in Product Design, including 3+ years in a leadership role.

• A proven track record of shaping design & research strategies and shipping impactful products at scale.

• Hands-on experience with DesignOps & ResearchOps.

• Strong background in UX Research (mixed methods, experimentation) tied directly to outcomes.

• Experience working in agile squad/tribe models with Product, Engineering, and Data teams.

• A metrics-driven mindset focused on conversion, retention, and customer effort.

• Proven experience managing and mentoring design and research professionals.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Fluent English (C1+).
