Do you want to set the direction for product cybersecurity in a global organization where technology supports people with hearing loss?
We are looking for a Head of Product Cybersecurity to establish and mature the cybersecurity framework for GN Hearing products.
In the role of Head of Product Cybersecurity in the Research & Technology organization, you will contribute to our purpose of Bringing People Closer. You will set the cybersecurity direction for Hearing, ensure regulatory readiness and promote secure product development across teams and markets.
The Team you will be part of:
You will join the Systems & Technology team in GN Hearing and work closely with software development, quality, regulatory, product development and other relevant functions. You will lead a team of 3 cyber security architects and facilitate the Hearing Cybersecurity Centre of Excellence (CoE), with members from all development teams, creating a shared forum for knowledge, consistent practices and implementation support.
The team aspires to make cybersecurity an integrated and practical part of how we develop, maintain and improve our products. We work collaboratively across disciplines, share knowledge openly and balance regulatory requirements with customer and business needs.
Your contribution is appreciated, and you will:
Hold overall responsibility for product cybersecurity within GN Hearing and set the strategic direction, policies and processes for the area.
Monitor and interpret worldwide product cybersecurity regulations, translating requirements into clear and practical direction that supports timely product registrations and market access.
Facilitate and develop the Hearing Cybersecurity CoE to support implementation, knowledge sharing and consistent ways of working.
Advise and support product development teams on cybersecurity throughout the product lifecycle, including secure software development and vulnerability management.
Follow up on cybersecurity implementation across Agile Release Trains and relevant development activities, identifying risks and supporting appropriate actions.
Represent Hearing Product Cybersecurity in internal and external audits, and ensure relevant evidence, documentation and controls are in place.
Coordinate the security handling, reporting and disclosure of product vulnerabilities and security incidents in collaboration with CQ RPS and relevant stakeholders, helping protect customers, products and company reputation.
To perform well in the role, we imagine that you:
Bring broad experience with product cybersecurity, secure software development and vulnerability management.
Have a solid understanding of worldwide product cybersecurity regulations and how to translate them into effective governance, processes and product requirements.
Hold a relevant cybersecurity certification, or bring equivalent documented qualifications required to support regulatory and operational compliance.
Communicate complex cybersecurity topics clearly and work well with others across R&D, Quality, Regulatory and Product teams.
Combine sound judgement, planning and organizing skills with a pragmatic approach to managing risk, priorities and implementation.
We pride ourselves on encouraging flexible work whenever possible. We trust our people to fulfill their responsibilities, to know when in-person collaboration is better than hybrid, and to be present when it's needed most.
We encourage you to apply
Even if you do not match all the above-mentioned skills, we welcome your application if you think you have transferable skills. We highly value a mindset and motivation that align with our core values, to not only ensure growth for you, but for your team and the wider GN organization as well.
We are focused on an inclusive recruitment process
All applicants will receive equal consideration for employment. As such, we encourage you to submit your CV without a photo to ensure an equal and fair application process.
