The Head of Procurement is responsible for developing and executing the Company's procurement strategy, building executive-level supplier partnerships, optimizing vendor performance, developing new and existing vendors, strengthening commercial agreements, mitigating supply risk, and serving as a strategic advisor to the CEO and CFO on strategic sourcing, contracts, and vendor strategy. 

Responsibilities

Strategic Procurement 

  • Develop and execute the Company's overall procurement strategy aligned with business objectives.  
  • Develop sourcing strategies across all product categories to improve profitability, service, and vendor continuity.  
  • Evaluate market trends, vendor capabilities, and emerging risks to proactively position the Company growth. 

Executive Vendor Relationships 

  • Develop and maintain senior-level relationships with strategic vendors.  
  • Serve as Gadge's senior representative during critical vendor negotiations and business reviews.  
  • Elevate vendor relationships from transactional partnerships to long-term strategic alliances. 

Contract Strategy 

  • Lead the negotiation of complex vendor agreements, pricing structures, rebates, and commercial terms.  
  • Partner with the CEO and counsel to develop, negotiate, review, and structure vendor agreements that appropriately balance commercial opportunity and business risk.  
  • Develop contract standards and governance processes that protect the Company's interests while supporting its unique business model.  
  • Provide strategic guidance regarding contractual obligations, risk mitigation, and vendor performance. 

Procurement Leadership 

  • Develop procurement policies, standards, and governance across the organization.  
  • Identify opportunities to leverage purchasing activities across product categories.  
  • Lead initiatives that improve procurement efficiency, vendor performance, and profitability. 
  • Partner closely with the CEO on vendor strategy, key negotiations, organizational priorities, and significant procurement initiatives.  
  • Provide recommendations to executive leadership regarding vendor selection, strategic partnerships, and procurement investments. 

Requirements
  • 10+ years of progressive procurement, sourcing, supply chain, or strategic vendor management experience.  
  • Demonstrated success leading complex supplier negotiations.  
  • Experience negotiating high-value commercial agreements.  
  • Executive presence with the ability to influence senior leaders internally and externally.  
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen.  
  • Experience evaluating contractual risk and negotiating favorable business terms.  
  • Experience leading organizational change and cross-functional initiatives. 
  • Strategic thinker who balances long-term vision with operational execution.  
  • Exercises sound business judgment and independent decision-making.  
  • Builds trusted partnerships with vendors and cross-functional leaders.  
  • Able to influence without authority.  
  • Exceptional negotiation and conflict resolution skills.  
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and making decisions with incomplete information.  
  • Detail-oriented while maintaining a strong enterprise perspective.

Additional Information:

The salary range for this role is $140,000 - $160,000 commensurate with the candidate's experience.
