Head of Procurement (m/f/d)

We’re looking for an experienced Head of Procurement (m/f/d) to join one of our portfolio companies and lead its procurement strategy and supplier management.

In your day-to-day work, you’ll focus on structuring the procurement function for scale, optimizing costs, and enabling business growth through operational excellence, and get the opportunity to contribute to key company-wide initiatives across multiple teams.

• Develop and execute comprehensive procurement strategies that support rapid company growth
• Optimize the structure and composition of a procurement team of 10+ FTE to ensure scalable operations
• Identify cost-saving opportunities, implement best practices, and lead continuous improvement efforts
• Establish and maintain strong supplier relationships, negotiating terms, pricing, and contracts — on a daily basis
• Monitor supplier performance and manage risks to ensure quality and reliability
• Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and regulations while streamlining internal processes
• Collaborate closely with Growth, Operations, and Product & Tech teams to align procurement with broader business goals
• Act quickly — implement new processes in days or weeks, not quarters or years

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
• Several years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, including 2+ years in a leadership role
• Strong accountability mindset — you'll oversee $20M+ in monthly purchasing decisions and contribute to double-digit MoM growth
• Proven success developing procurement strategies or operating in fast-paced trading environments
• Excellent negotiation skills in international supplier settings
• Strong leadership capabilities and a track record of building and scaling teams
• Strategic and analytical thinker with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to thrive in high-speed, high-growth environments
• Fluent English required; German is a plus

Please note that we are looking for support in the Berlin office of our portfolio company. Eligibility to work within the EU is required as well.
