Your Mission:

As Head of Procurement (all genders), you will lead VÆRIDION's procurement and supply chain strategy during one of the most exciting phases of our growth: the development, certification, and industrialization of the Microliner. You will build and lead a world-class procurement function, establish strategic supplier partnerships, and ensure the resilience, scalability, and competitiveness of our supply chain.

Working closely with Engineering, Program Management, Finance, and Leadership, you will drive sourcing, contracting, supplier performance, and procurement governance across the organization. Your leadership will be instrumental in securing the technologies, capabilities, and partnerships required to bring sustainable aviation to market.

 

Your Day-to-Day:

  • Define and execute VÆRIDION's procurement and supplier management strategy, aligned with company objectives and growth plans.

  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing procurement organization, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

  • Own end-to-end procurement activities across development, industrialization, certification, and production phases.

  • Establish strategic sourcing strategies and long-term supplier partnerships for critical aircraft structures, systems, equipment, and services.

  • Lead complex commercial negotiations and contract management activities to secure optimal commercial, technical, and operational outcomes.

  • Develop procurement governance, policies, and processes that support a rapidly growing aerospace organization.

  • Drive supplier performance, capability assessments, risk management, and supply chain resilience initiatives.

  • Collaborate closely with Engineering and Program Management to ensure procurement strategies support program milestones, cost targets, quality requirements, and certification objectives.

  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, ensuring business continuity and long-term supplier sustainability.

  • Manage procurement budgets, cost performance, and value creation initiatives across the organization.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on procurement, supply chain, and strategic sourcing matters.

  • Represent VÆRIDION in key supplier, partner, and industry relationships.

 

Your Profile:

  • 10+ years of procurement, supply chain, or strategic sourcing experience, including several years in a leadership role.

  • Proven track record of building, leading, and scaling procurement organizations in complex, highly regulated industries.

  • Extensive experience within aerospace, aviation, or other advanced technology development programs.

  • Strong commercial acumen and demonstrated success negotiating high-value contracts and strategic partnerships.

  • Experience managing cross-functional stakeholders and influencing decisions at executive level.

  • Demonstrated ability to balance strategic thinking with operational execution in fast-paced environments.

  • Strong understanding of supplier development, risk management, industrialization, and production readiness.

  • Degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, Law, or a related discipline.

  • Outstanding leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Fluent in German and English, with excellent negotiation and presentation capabilities in both languages.
