Scholars International Language School is seeking to appoint an exceptional and experienced Head of Primary for the 2026/27 academic year. The successful candidate will provide inspiring leadership across the Primary phase, driving excellence in teaching and learning, and empowering both students and staff to achieve their full potential. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic educational leader committed to delivering high-quality primary education and promoting continuous school improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide visionary leadership and direction to the Primary School, ensuring high standards of academic achievement and student personal development.
    • Member of the Senior Leadership Team and collaborate with staff across departments to implement school policies. Share thoughts on curriculum developments and pedagogical enhancements.
    • Oversee curriculum implementation according to academic planning, delivery, assessment, and monitoring in line with national and international standards.
    • Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive school environment that nurtures student wellbeing and fosters positive behaviour.
    • Work closely with the academic director (dean) to support, mentor, and develop teachers and middle leaders to enhance professional practice and career development.
    • Engage with parents and the wider community to build strong partnerships that support students' academic and personal growth.
    • Manage resources effectively, including budgeting and timetabling, to support the school's vision and goals.
    • Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies and procedures, promoting the welfare of all students.
