Your Mission
As Head of Section, you will guide the academic, administrative, and pedagogical heart of the school. You’ll work closely with General Management and a passionate teaching team to co-create an innovative, inclusive, and responsive learning environment—one that moves away from traditional schooling and toward meaningful, learner-centered experiences.
Your Core Responsibilities
Learning Leadership
- Support and evolve the implementation of innovative, bilingual educational programs across Grades 1–9
- Co-design learning pathways aligned with international standards and local culture
- Reimagine learning experiences with a focus on relevance, creativity, and joy
- Continuously evaluate and improve pedagogy in a way that’s responsive to your learners and team
People & Team Culture
- Mentor, coach, and inspire teachers in a collaborative, growth-focused environment
- Facilitate meaningful professional learning opportunities for staff
- Foster a reflective, trusting, and future-ready team culture
Family & Community Relationships
- Build open and meaningful relationships with families
- Share progress transparently and invite families into the learning journey
- Nurture a sense of shared purpose between home and school
Operations & Organizational Flow
- Coordinate day-to-day school operations, schedules, and programs
- Manage resources and learning spaces with intention and care
- Ensure efficient planning, logistics, and communication across the section
Continuous Development
- Monitor learner progress and team performance with empathy and integrity
- Drive quality assurance through feedback, reflection, and forward momentum
- Align school goals with a clear vision for excellence and wellbeing
You Might Be a Great Fit If You…
- Have 3+ years of leadership experience in a constructivist, active, or progressive school
- Hold a degree in Education, Pedagogy, Psychopedagogy, or a related field (graduate studies are a plus)
- Are fluent in Spanish and English (C1 level minimum in both)
- Thrive in a bilingual, multicultural environment
- Have a deep understanding of innovative teaching and learning methodologies
- See education as a human and social mission, not just an academic pursuit
- Are a systems-thinker who leads with heart, clarity, and community alignment
- Are proactive, reflective, and excited to model purpose and integrity in daily life
