We are looking for a strategic portfolio leader to shape and drive a global Automation portfolio within the Energy Industry division. This role sits at the intersection of technology, business strategy, innovation, and market growth, ensuring our portfolio remains competitive, scalable, and aligned with evolving customer needs.
As Head of Portfolio Management, you will define portfolio priorities, influence investment decisions, and guide the evolution of our automation, software, digital, and AI-enabled offerings. Working closely with executive leaders, Product Management, R&D, Sales, and Business Lines, you will help shape the future direction of one of the industry's leading automation portfolios.

Main responsibilities:
Define and execute the portfolio strategy, aligning technology investments with business priorities, market opportunities, and customer value creation
Lead portfolio governance, prioritization, and investment decisions across a diverse portfolio of automation, software, digital, and AI-enabled solutions
Own portfolio performance, balancing growth, profitability, lifecycle maturity, and long-term competitiveness
Drive portfolio transformation by simplifying complexity, improving scalability, and strengthening portfolio differentiation
Align product roadmaps across multiple product lines and technologies, creating a coherent automation ecosystem
Partner with R&D, Sales, and Business Leadership to accelerate commercialization and market adoption
Translate market, customer, competitive, and technology insights into actionable portfolio strategies and investment cases
Safeguard and strengthen the portfolio’s intellectual property position by aligning innovation, technology differentiation, and competitive protection with portfolio strategy
Build and develop portfolio management capabilities while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
Qualifications for the role
12+ years of experience within industrial automation, industrial software, process automation, digital industrial technologies, or closely related industries
Proven leadership experience in portfolio management, product management, business leadership, strategy, or technology management roles
Demonstrated track record of managing complex product and solution portfolios in global industrial organizations
Experience driving portfolio investment decisions, business case development, lifecycle management, and commercial growth
Solid understanding of automation systems, software-driven solutions, digital platforms, and emerging AI technologies
Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment across global matrix organizations
Strong commercial acumen with experience balancing customer value, market opportunities, profitability, and long-term strategic objectives
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
