Salary: €103,800 - €130,000, negotiable depending on experience

About the job
The Head of People is a functional leadership role, supporting, shaping and embedding the IB’s people and culture vision across the region.
Within this role you’ll be responsible for fostering a workplace culture rooted in excellence, innovation, inclusivity, and engagement.
As part of the People leadership team, the Head of People is responsible for ensuring that employee programs are tailored to enhance employee satisfaction, drive business results, and position the organisation as an employer of choice.
In addition to this, you’ll also be a trusted advisor and strategic business partner for two members of our Executive team to provide expert advice and guidance on HR practices and trends, actively influence key organisational decisions, and ensure compliance and people risk matters are effectively managed.
Responsibilities- Partner with senior leadership to align people strategy with business objectives
- Lead and develop a high-performing regional HR team
- Partner effectively with our Works Council
- Champion a culture of high performance and employee engagement
- Lead change management initiatives and support organisational transformation
- Manage employee relations, wellbeing, and organisational health initiatives
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation and manage people risk
- Support an international community of colleagues based in The Hague and Geneva
- Strong HR leadership experience within multinational organisations
- Fluent in Dutch and English
- Extensive experience working in partnership with Works Council
- Strong knowledge of employment law and compliance requirements
- Experience managing complex employee relations cases
- The ability to influence key stakeholders and work collaboratively with diverse teams
- Proven experience driving organisational change and transformation
- Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Data-driven approach to decision making and continuous improvement
