Overview of the Role
The Head of People and Culture at VBP is a strategic leadership role responsible for developing and executing the company’s people strategy in alignment with business goals. This role leads the People and Culture team to foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance work environment while driving employee engagement, talent development, and organizational effectiveness.
The ideal candidate will champion the company’s values and culture, promote employee well-being, and act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on all HR and people-related matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive people strategies that align with VBP's mission and objectives
- Lead and mentor the People and Culture team to deliver effective HR programs and initiatives
- Drive talent acquisition, retention, and succession planning efforts
- Shape and nurture company culture, promoting engagement, inclusion, and diversity
- Oversee performance management, learning and development, and employee relations
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and HR best practices
- Collaborate closely with senior leaders to support organizational change and business growth
- Analyze HR metrics and insights to inform strategic decision-making
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree is a plus
- Proven experience (typically 7+ years) in senior HR leadership roles
- Strong knowledge of HR functions, labor laws, and best practices
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and drive culture transformation
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and strategic thinking skills
- Ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
- Experience with HR analytics and using data to drive decisions
- Passion for fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture
