In this role, you will be responsible for managing an international team to develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for our global payment infrastructure. Your key responsibilities include leading the transformation of payments, align the payment strategy with company goals, stay updated on payment technologies and trends, lead the process on implementation, develop relationships with payment providers and banks, enhancing and streamlining payment processes, implementing automated payment solutions, and ensuring fraud prevention. More technical details will be provided during the process.
This is a fully remote position, and we're looking for someone who can collaborate effectively within the CET timezone!
What you'll do: Responsibilities- Own and develop the company’s payment infrastructure, including pay-ins, payouts, anti-fraud, and payment operations.
- Define and execute the payments strategy in line with business growth, profitability, and market expansion goals.
- Own overall payments P&L and financial performance, including acquiring costs, payout costs, fraud costs, conversion impact, and budget performance, with clear accountability for outperforming targets.
- Lead end-to-end implementation of new payment solutions — from idea and business case development to partner selection, integration, launch, and ongoing optimization.
- Act as the owner of strategic payment initiatives, coordinating Product, Engineering, Finance, and Commercial teams to deliver measurable business impact.
- Partner closely with Product and Engineering leadership to improve customer experience, conversion, payment performance, and product metrics across the payment domain.
- Contribute to product strategy and prioritization within the payments area, bringing a strong product and customer-centric mindset.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with PSPs, banks, and other payment partners.
- Ensure payment infrastructure resilience through failover capabilities, provider diversification, and scalable architecture.
- Own business cases and financial models for payment initiatives, including ROI analysis and Product & Engineering investment evaluation.
- Drive payment cost optimization and identify new monetization opportunities across the payment ecosystem, leveraging existing infrastructure and transaction volumes.
- Monitor market trends, emerging technologies, and new payment solutions to keep the company competitive and innovative.
- Present payment strategy, business cases, and performance results to senior leadership and C-level stakeholders with clarity, confidence, and strong business rationale.
- Act as a strong cross-functional leader, capable of influencing decision-making, aligning stakeholders, and driving execution in a fast-paced environment.
