The Opportunity at Altana
As the Head of Partnerships, you will lead Altana’s efforts to establish, manage and scale strategic partnerships that drive growth, expand our ecosystem, and deliver value to our customers. Reporting to the Chief Growth Officer, your work will directly influence Altana’s ability to deliver on its mission and scale its impact globally.
You Will
Strategic Partnership Development:
- Identify, evaluate, and prioritize opportunities for new and existing partnerships with key channel and other strategic partners as well as global systems integrators and other tech integration ecosystem players that align with Altana’s growth objectives.
- Build a robust pipeline of potential partners by understanding market trends, competitor activity, and areas of opportunity within the tech, cloud, and digital ecosystems.
- Define a clear partnership strategy and execution roadmap, ensuring alignment with Altana’s broader business goals.
- Revenue Generation: Drive partnership initiatives that lead to direct and measurable substantial revenue growth for Altana, such as through co-selling, marketplace opportunities, solution integrations and bundled offerings and joint go-to-market initiatives.
- Collaborative Deal Structuring: Work closely with Altana’s executive and other internal teams (sales, product, marketing, etc.) to structure win-win partnership agreements that align with Altana’s goals, while delivering value to partners.
- Go-to-Market Strategy and Promotional Opportunities: Collaborate with partners on joint marketing, sales, and customer success initiatives, ensuring Altana’s solutions are well-positioned in the marketplace through collaborative efforts.
- Performance Tracking: Set KPIs and regularly report on the performance of partnerships, ensuring consistent tracking of partnership-driven revenue, product integration success, and overall impact on Altana’s business objectives.
- Team Leadership & Development: Grow, direct and mentor the partnerships team and function, ensuring they are positioned to execute high-value partnerships. Scale the team as the program evolves to meet the expanding needs of Altana’s business objectives.
You Have
- Minimum of 10 years in a partnerships leadership role within the tech (ideally SaaS) industry, with a track record of driving revenue through strategic partnerships.
- Expertise in establishing marketplaces, building partner channels, and managing large-scale partner account relationships.
- Strong understanding of global system integrators and tech ecosystem partners.
- Demonstrated ability to build and scale partnerships that drive business growth and market expansion.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication and relationship-building skills, with experience managing complex deals, and cross-functional collaboration with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strategic thinker with a data-driven approach to decision-making and a focus on delivering measurable results.
- A deep network within the tech, cloud, and systems integrator ecosystems is a plus.
- Ability to think strategically and execute tactically, balancing short-term results with long-term value creation.
- Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field; MBA, JD or equivalent experience is preferred.
This role is based in Brooklyn, NY, USA with hybrid work flexibility and candidates must be within commuting distance from our Williamsburg office.
US Salary Range and Benefits
$190,000 - $220,000 USD
The salary range, to the extent specified for this role, is a good faith statement of the minimum and maximum levels of the annual based salary for the position. The base salary offered to a successful candidate will depend on a wide range of compensation factors, including, but not limited to, work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full time offers; and are considered part of Altana's total compensation package. Altana also offers either a discretionary bonus or a variable compensation plan depending on the role. Additionally, Altana offers top-tier benefits for full-time employees, including:
