Overview
The Global Outsourced Operations Team is responsible for the co-ordination, manufacturing, planning and delivery of Dyson products, refurbishment, spares and accessories globally. Bringing new products and technologies into mass manufacture and to manage the ongoing production. This covers the engagement and interaction with product development teams through to the purchase of relevant equipment and tooling to ensure product quality, reliability and output is achieved. Covering the end to end life cycle of Dyson product the Global Outsourced Operations Team is responsible for maintaining the quality standards of Dyson products daily.
About the role
Based in Philippines, the Head of Operations is accountable for the end-to-end management of Dyson’s outsourced manufacturing operations in the Philippines.
Working closely with the contract manufacturers, the role will look after all manufacturing operations in the Philippines and will lead the operational execution, escalation and resolution of challenges in partnership delivery, whilst embedding continuous improvement in line with Dyson’s high-performance culture and values.
Ensuring compliance and reporting through KPI management, you will be responsible for leading and development of the local operations team internally and the development of the outsource operations manufacturing partners.

Professional experience
- Minimum 15 years of engineering and operations leadership experience, with a minimum of 5 years’ operating at Senior Manager Level
- Deep proficiency in world-class manufacturing methodologies: Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, Kaizen, Hoshin Kanri, and robust operational excellence practices.
- Demonstrated track record of end to end management of internal company factories and complex consumer oriented CM/EMS.
- Demonstrated track record of ramping upproduction volume across multiple sites with a focus on performance, quality & cost.
- Proven capability to independently challenge, influence, and collaborate with senior leadership, both within Dyson and with external partners.
- Degree/Post Graduate Degree in Engineering.
- Six-Sigma black belt certification and DFX experiences.

- Multi-national corporations work experiences with strong ability to work cross-functionally with stakeholders in procurement, supply chain and research & development.
