Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership:
- Oversee daily operations, including advisor and staff onboarding, transaction processing, and technology initiatives.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and systems to improve operational efficiency and scalability.
- Lead cross-functional teams to manage operational projects, ensuring timely and high-quality execution.
- Risk Management and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards, including operational controls.
- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard firm assets and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Partner with the compliance team to manage audits, risk assessments, and policy updates.
- Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Collaborate with the CEO to define and execute strategic goals for operational excellence.
- Drive initiatives to improve service delivery, reduce costs, and enhance the client experience.
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational effectiveness.
- People Management:
- Build and lead a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for staff.
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration across all departments.
- Client and Stakeholder Engagement:
- Act as a key point of contact for strategic partners, vendors, and external stakeholders.
- Support the sales and client services teams in delivering exceptional client experiences.
- Lead initiatives to address client concerns and implement process improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in the financial services, insurance, or asset management industries, with at least 5 years in an operational leadership role.
- Proven experience managing and scaling operational functions in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent leadership, team management, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in financial systems, operational platforms, and technology solutions.
