About the Global Delivery Centre (GDC)
The Global Delivery Centre (GDC) in Gurugram serves as ERM's global operating backbone. It delivers business enablement services across Finance, HR, IT, and Commercial Operations, ensuring ERM's global business operates seamlessly, efficiently, and consistently.

Role Overview
The Head of O2C will lead ERM's global Order-to-Cash operations from the GDC, encompassing project accounting, invoicing, collections, and receivables management. The role is responsible for ensuring O2C processes are accurate, timely, standardized, and well controlled to support business growth and healthy cash flow.
Working closely with the Global Director of Finance Operations and regional Finance Controllers, this individual will define the global O2C operating model, oversee service delivery through the GDC, and prepare the function for ERP transformation and deployment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end O2C operations, including project setup, billing, collections, dispute management, and cash application.
Design and implement standardized global processes aligned with ERP platforms (Certinia/MS Dynamics) and Tipalti integration.
Manage project accounting accuracy, revenue recognition compliance, and AR reconciliation integrity.
Establish and monitor SLAs, KPIs, and dashboards covering DSO, WIP, collections effectiveness, and invoice cycle time.
Partner with Data & Analytics teams to drive insightful reporting and cash flow forecasting.
Collaborate closely with regional finance leaders and delivery teams.
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of approximately 80-100 professionals.
Experience & Capabilities
18+ years of experience in global O2C, Accounts Receivable, or Project Accounting leadership roles.
Proven experience managing process transitions and ERP transformation programs.
Deep understanding of project-based revenue cycles, client billing, collections, and cash-flow management.
Demonstrated success in driving process standardization, harmonization, and automation across regions.
Strong people leadership experience managing teams of 80-100 employees.
Excellent stakeholder management, governance, and financial controls expertise.
Skills Required
- 12+ years in global O2C/project-accounting leadership within shared services.
- Experience in process transition management and recent system replacement programs (ERP/billing/PSA).
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (Certinia/MS Dynamics) and Tipalti integrations.
- Deep understanding of project revenue cycles, client billing, revenue recognition controls, and cash-collection processes.
- Proven ability to drive harmonization and automation across regions.
- Strong people leadership, stakeholder engagement, and governance discipline.
- Experience managing a team of ~30-40 members in a shared services environment.
- Experience establishing SLAs, KPIs, and dashboards for DSO, WIP, and invoice cycle time.
- Experience managing AR reconciliations and ensuring project accounting accuracy.
- Ability to partner with Data & Analytics for reporting and cash-flow forecasting.
