Job Description

As Head of NPI Engineering and Project Management at NTS Singapore you are responsible to leads the New Product Introduction (NPI) engineering and project management function, defining and executing strategies aligned with overall business goals. It is responsible for overseeing end-to-end delivery of NPI projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. The position drives strong cross-functional collaboration across manufacturing, supply chain, sales, planning, and customer support to ensure seamless execution. It also manages budgets, risks, KPIs, and continuous process improvements to enhance efficiency and project outcomes. In addition, the role ensures successful product and process qualification and smooth transition from NPI into high-volume manufacturing (HVM), while acting as a key interface for stakeholders and customers.

Furthermore, your key responsibilities are:
  • Develop and execute the NPI strategy aligned with overall business objectives

  • Lead, mentor, and manage NPI engineering and project management teams

  • Oversee end-to-end NPI project delivery ensuring on-time, in-scope, and within-budget execution

  • Drive cross-functional collaboration across sales, manufacturing, supply chain, planning, and customer support

  • Establish and maintain project governance including timelines, milestones, reporting, and stakeholder communication

  • Identify and implement process improvements, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives using data and KPIs

  • Manage NPI budgets, financial tracking, risk mitigation, and ensure smooth transition from NPI to high-volume manufacturing (HVM)

Job Requirements
  • Degree in Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics Engineering or equivalent

  • 10+ years of manufacturing experience with parts/assembly and NPI exposure

  • 10+ years of project management experience, including at least 5 years in program management

  • Strong leadership experience managing cross-functional teams in complex global environments

  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and data-driven decision making

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills with a proactive mindset

Skills Required
