Head of News & Editorials

Job Summary:

Growth Leads is a leading affiliate and lead generation company working within the iGaming and finance verticals. We build high-end websites with quality content that helps customers make an informed buying decision - driving relevant traffic through organic and paid search.
We’re looking for a driven, strategic leader to spearhead our news and editorial operations, working to capture search space in Google Top Stories, Discover, and organic news result. As the Head of News & Editorials, you will be responsible for developing and executing content strategies that generate high-quality traffic that turns into leads for our partners, while also leading and growing a talented editorial team. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Content Strategy & Growth: Develop and implement a robust content strategy aimed at driving significant traffic growth, particularly through Google Top Stories, Discover, Google News, and general organic search results - with a focus on lead generation.
• Team Leadership & Development: Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing editorial team. 
• SEO & Optimization: Ensure all news content is optimized for search, focusing on visibility in both regular organic search and relevant news features. 
• Content Planning & Execution: Oversee the development and execution of a content calendar that prioritizes coverage that is relevant for the iGaming sector.
• Collaboration & Innovation: Work cross-functionally with SEO, marketing, and product teams to align news/editorials content efforts with general business goals and with an aim to stay ahead of industry trends. 
• Data-Driven Approach: Regularly analyze content performance, adapt strategies, and make informed decisions to continuously improve traffic and lead generation.
  

Requirements & Skills:

• Proven Leadership: Experience building and managing editorial teams and creating a results-driven, positive work culture.
• SEO Expertise: In-depth knowledge of SEO best practices with experience optimizing content for Google Top Stories, Discover, and regular news oriented organic search.
• Content Strategy Experience: Strong background in developing and executing content strategies that drive measurable traffic growth.
• Lead Generation & Affiliation: Familiarity with lead generation and affiliate marketing strategies, understanding how content can be optimized for conversion.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze performance data and adjust content strategies accordingly.
• Bonus: Prior experience in the iGaming industry.
