The MS&T Head (d/f/m) Kundl leads the site’s MS&T organization, ensuring strong scientific oversight of manufacturing processes and technical changes, maintaining and enhancing technical knowledge and capabilities, and securing robust product and technical stewardship across all process units and site functions.
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Lead the MS&T organization, ensuring quality, compliance, and continuous improvement across all technical operations.
- Ensure robust product stewardship with end-to-end technical oversight of all products and manufacturing processes.
- Assign and oversee technical ownership (product stewards, process experts, packaging experts) for all products and operations.
- Strengthen process robustness by driving process improvements and resolving technical issues with site and global teams.
- Manage technical changes and change control activities, ensuring cross-functional alignment and regulatory compliance.
- Act as site technical interface with Health Authorities and review or release regulatory content as required.
- Own validation and technical transfer activities, including the Validation Master Plan, ongoing process verification, and product transfers.
- Lead MS&T people and organizational development, including career paths, succession planning, training, talent pipelining, and knowledge management.
What you’ll bring to the role:
- Master’s degree in pharmacy, engineering, chemistry, biology, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or life science industry within a GMP environment, ideally in commercial manufacturing.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in operations management and execution.
- Strong background in Operational Excellence, with lean or OpEx qualifications preferred.
- Proven ability to drive quality and compliance improvements across an organization.
- Experience leading large, multidisciplinary teams with strong organizational and cultural awareness.
- Excellent communication skills in German and English, including written, verbal, and presentation abilities.
- High adaptability and resilience, with strong collaboration skills and the ability to manage pressure.

In accordance with Austrian law, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary as stated in the collective bargaining agreement. For this position the minimum salary is EUR 87.418,66/year (on a full-time basis).
The actual salary will be significantly higher, as we strive to maintain a competitive position in the market and consider your previous experience, qualifications and individual competencies.
