Leads Synpulse’s global Marketing function, setting strategy, operating standards, portfolio priorities, budgets, and performance measures. The global Head of Marketing sets the strategic direction for Synpulse’s global Marketing unit and leads its international team. The role translates business strategy and Market Practice priorities into a coherent global go-to-market agenda for all Synpulse brands, with consistent standards, disciplined portfolio choices and measurable commercial contribution.
The role leads the three-level Marketing operating model: global steering, Market Practice business partnering, and regional or local activation. It provides direction to the Deputy Head of Marketing, Marketing Business Partners and activation specialists, while working closely with Market Practice leaders, regional and local leadership, Global Communications, and Design Services.
This is an enterprise leadership role with responsibility for quality, consistency, AI-enabled capability building, performance transparency and the continued development of an inclusive, effective global Marketing team.

Essential leadership experience
- Senior leadership experience with accountability for an international marketing team operating across multiple regions, cultures and time zones.
- Strong people leadership capability, including developing talent and creating accountability across distributed teams.
- Experience leading through change, ambiguity or operating-model transition while sustaining delivery and team engagement.
Marketing and commercial capability
- Broad business-to-business marketing expertise, with the judgement to shape integrated marketing programmes across content, channels and demand generation to support commercial growth.
- Strong understanding of proposition-led and account or segment-based marketing planning in a professional services, technology or other complex B2B environment.
- Ability to connect commercial objectives to marketing activity and establish meaningful performance measures, dashboards and return-on-investment discipline.
- Experience governing a global portfolio and budget, making transparent prioritization decisions and redirecting resources based on strategy and performance.
- Good understanding of marketing technology, automation, data and practical AI enablement.
- Track record of building or repositioning a B2B brand, with a clear and differentiated narrative carried across markets.
- Deep hands-on background in integrated B2B campaigns, having personally planned and run multi-market campaigns, from strategy, messaging and channel planning through to regional activation, before leading teams that do.
- Demonstrated building a modern marketing stack (CRM, automation, analytics and attribution) and embedding AI into marketing workflows, with measurable gains in speed, quality or pipeline contribution, and the judgement to govern its use across brand, data privacy and client confidentiality.

REQUIREMENTS
- Professional fluency in English. Additional languages relevant to Synpulse markets area plus.
- Ability to travel internationally to lead the global team and engage with senior stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively across global time zones and maintain a leadership cadence.
- Willingness to be based in, or work regularly from, a Synpulse hub, with flexible home-office arrangements supporting effective global leadership and close business engagement.

Strategic leadership and business partnership
- Establish and communicate strategic direction and operating principles for the global Marketing team, ensuring alignment with Synpulse’s strategy and Market Practice model.
- Act as a strategic adviser to Market Practice and business leaders on propositions, target segments, buying centers and go-to-market choices, constructively challenging priorities where required.
- Build Marketing’s strategic dialogue with the business, ensuring that Market Practices are treated as primary internal customers who rely on Marketing for lead generation.
- Translate business objectives and propositions into an annual Marketing plan, with clear priorities, core themes, activation focus areas and success measures. Balance strategic value, commercial impact, capacity, budget and regional relevance.
Global portfolio, planning and performance
- Create transparent Marketing activity portfolio and KPI dashboard, with success measures grouped by Market Practice and consistent tracking of engagement, lead generation, conversion support and return on investment.
- Lead annual and quarterly planning and budgeting with Market Practice leadership, resolving conflicts and shifting investment when priorities or performance change.
- Provide performance transparency to senior leadership, identifying outcomes, risks, and trade-offs.
Marketing excellence and channels
- Own campaign methodology, content standards, Marketing channels and the website, ensuring consistent quality and effective execution across markets.
- Define standards and governance that connect global with regional and local activation, localisation and language adaptation.
- Advance Marketing technology, AI enablement, automation and dashboarding to improve productivity, insight, scalability and user experience.
Organization and people leadership
- Lead, inspire and develop an international Marketing team across hubs and time zones, creating clear accountability, strong collaboration and a shared culture of accountability, learning and performance.
- Ensure the global Marketing operating model works effectively, with clear roles, strong collaboration, defined deputy arrangements and reliable continuity across regions and teams
- Build commercial confidence to engage business leaders, shape Marketing priorities and constructively challenge go-to-market choices.
Cross-functional orchestration and delivery
- Run an integrated leadership cadence and planning interface across Marketing, Business Development, Communications, and Design Services, aligning activity while respecting functional accountabilities.
- Strengthen coordination with Sales and Market Practices on marketing-qualified lead handover, follow-throughand feedback.
