We help our clients invest for the future and to live the lives they want to lead. It’s a responsibility we take seriously and it inspires us to do the right thing. Not just for our clients, but for each other and the world around us too.

About your team

EMEA Marketing is undergoing a significant transformation, moving from a collection of locally self-sufficient functions to an integrated, hub-and-spoke operating model built for commercial impact and scalability. Marketing Services is the data, technology and operational backbone of this new operating model. The team provides the infrastructure that makes scalable, insight-driven marketing possible, from designing the AI and martech stack strategy to audience and journeys building, marketing automation, performance reporting, and ROI tracking. The CoE operates as a shared capability serving all EMEA markets and Specialist teams, enabling the organisation to deliver more with greater consistency and less manual effort.

About your role
As Head of Marketing Services, you will lead the shared marketing services that enable EMEA Marketing to operate at scale. Your team will provide core delivery capabilities for the wider organisation, including marketing automation, publishing, reporting, templates and lead management, ensuring that markets and Specialist teams can execute with greater consistency, efficiency and control.

The team will also act as the primary marketing counterpart to FIL Platform across martech, AI, data and analytics. Marketing Services will define the marketing strategy, business requirements, priorities and use cases that shape that roadmap, ensuring that platform investment is directed towards the capabilities EMEA Marketing needs most.

In addition, you will provide strategic oversight of the marketing services budget and of ROI tracking across the function. You will help ensure that investment decisions are transparent, aligned to business priorities and supported by clear performance measurement, giving leadership better visibility on where marketing services spend is creating value.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead the Marketing Services function as a shared capability for EMEA Marketing, providing scalable support across marketing automation, publishing, reporting, templates and lead management.
  • Define service standards, operating rhythms and delivery processes that improve consistency, speed and control across markets and Specialist teams.
  • Act as the primary marketing counterpart to FIL Platform and CAO across martech, AI, data and analytics, translating marketing strategy into clear business requirements, priorities and use cases.
  • Oversee the EMEA Marketing budget, ensuring spend is transparent, well-governed and aligned to agreed business priorities.
  • Establish and maintain ROI tracking across the function, giving leadership clear visibility of performance, value creation and areas for optimisation.
  • Lead the team through the transition to the new operating model, embedding disciplined ways of working and strong collaboration with Growth marketing and Specialist teams.

Your success will be demonstrated through:

  • High-quality, reliable delivery of shared marketing services across EMEA.
  • Improved consistency and efficiency in how Growth marketing and Specialist teams execute marketing activity.
  • Effective collaboration with CAO and FIL Platform, evidenced by well-defined marketing requirements, prioritised use cases and roadmaps that reflect EMEA Marketing needs.
  • Strong visibility and control over the EMEA budget, supported by appropriate governance and clear and credible ROI tracking.
  • Successful embedding of the new operating model
  • A team that operates with strong service discipline, commercial understanding and continuous focus on improvement and scalability.

About you

You bring strong service discipline, a continuous improvement mindset and the ability to build trusted partnerships across Growth and Specialist teams, and FIL Platform. You know how to manage complexity, create clarity, and help teams adopt new ways of working without losing sight of business outcomes, budget discipline and ROI.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong understanding of marketing automation, publishing workflows, reporting, templates and lead management processes
  • Experience working with technology, data or platform teams to shape martech, AI, data and analytics priorities
  • Ability to translate strategy into clear business requirements, prioritised use cases and practical delivery roadmaps
  • Proven ability to build scalable service models that improve consistency, efficiency and control across multiple markets or business units
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the confidence to operate across Marketing, Platform and senior leadership teams
  • Fluency in English required; additional European languages an advantage
