The Opportunity

In this role, you will guide the Hub North America Marketing and Sales organization for Edge Solutions—spanning data centers, battery energy storage, energy hubs, e‑mobility, and transportation. These segments are rapidly expanding and central to the modernization of the power grid. You will help shape how our Grid and Power Quality Solutions reach customers, supporting projects that reduce emissions, improve efficiency, and meet growing energy demands across North America. As part of Hitachi Energy’s Global Product Group, you will work with teams around the world to deploy strategic portfolio priorities, strengthen customer engagement, and develop business models that help customers achieve their long‑term energy goals.

You will steer regional Sales Managers and Country Front End teams to identify opportunities, increase market penetration, and secure long‑term agreements that support growth. You will partner closely with colleagues across Hubs, Business Units, and external partners to evaluate market feasibility, allocate resources, and bring standardized solutions to customers. Your work directly influences demand creation, market share expansion, and strategy deployment across the region. This role offers the chance to contribute to the reliability and evolution of the power grid while working on high‑impact initiatives that support a more sustainable energy future.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Manage the Hub North America Marketing & Sales function for Edge Solutions and deliver sales targets across assigned market segments.

  • Develop portfolio strategies and implementation plans with Sales Managers to drive market penetration and long‑term demand.

  • Guide Sales Managers and Country Front End teams in identifying new opportunities and strengthening customer relationships.

  • Support deployment of Hub North America strategic priorities and business models across regions.

  • Build early engagement with strategic customers and promote technologies that support their energy and infrastructure priorities.

  • Leverage cross‑Hub expertise and partner resources to prioritize pursuits, allocate capacity, and drive standardized solutions.

  • Drive substantial growth in demand orders while ensuring alignment with Hub strategy.

  • Promote knowledge sharing and foster collaboration across teams and regions.

  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background

  • Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.

  • A degree in Engineering, Business or Management or other relevant subjects.

  • More than 15 years of experience in Sales, strong experience managing team and implementing Sales strategies across the team with a good track record of success within the Electrical and Power Industry.

  • More than 10 years of experience from Project Business (EP, EPC) within the Electrical and Power Industry from a Sales, Operations or Engineering perspective.

  • Self-driven and experienced in driving the success of the team, able to motivate team members and work with different stakeholders and able to bring cross-functional teams together.

  • Experience in working in a multicultural environment, across different regions.

  • A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong communication skills.

  • Strong negotiating, supervisory and leadership skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, language skills in French are a plus.

  • Availability to travel within US, Canada and outside NAM; up to 30-40% travel.
