At Wolt, we create technology that brings joy, simplicity and earnings to the neighborhoods of the world. In 2014 we started with delivery of restaurant food. Now we’re building the delivery of (almost) everything and you’ll find us in over 500 cities in 30 countries around the world. In 2022 we joined forces with DoorDash and together we keep on dreaming big and expanding across the globe.
Working at Wolt isn’t always easy, but it’s definitely exciting. Here you’ll learn more, build more, and ship more than in most other companies. You’ll be challenged a lot, but also have a lot of fun on the way. So, if you’re a self-starter with drive and entrepreneurial spirit, this could be the ride of your life.
We are looking for a senior, business-minded leader to own the data and measurement backbone that lets every marketing team make better decisions, faster. Sitting within Marketing Innovation, you will be the single owner of foundational reporting, attribution, incrementality testing, budget tooling, and the third-party data integrations that feed them — and the marketing-side DRI for our partnership with Marketing Analytics and Analytics Engineering.
As Head of Marketing Data Product, you will not build the models or pipelines yourself — that is Analytics and Analytics Engineering's craft. Your job is to know exactly what marketing needs to see, decide, and prove; translate that into a prioritized roadmap; and hold Analytics and Analytics Engineering accountable for delivering it, while you own adoption, rollout, and outcomes on the marketing side.
The role reports directly to the Global Head of Marketing Innovation.
Why this role mattersMarketing today runs on measurement that is fragmented and hard-won: MMM and attribution methods disagree, incrementality reads live separately from spend data, budget-allocation decisions get argued on conviction rather than a shared source of truth, and every new data feed gets integrated one-off. Meanwhile Analytics and Analytics Engineering have no single marketing-side counterpart. This role fixes both at once.
What you'll be doing- Data Product Strategy & Roadmap — own the consolidated roadmap across reporting, attribution, incrementality, budget tooling, and 3rd-party integrations; translate needs into briefs for Analytics/Analytics Engineering; own build-vs-buy calls.
- Foundational Reporting & Performance Visibility — own the decision-ready dashboard suite (GOV/MAU drivers, spend, channel/country performance, promo efficiency), WBR automation, KPI health alerting.
- Attribution & Measurement — own the attribution layer and its convergence with incrementality testing into one system of record; partner with Analytics on methodology and calibration.
- Incrementality Testing — own the experimentation framework and test calendar; feed results back into budget decisions as ground truth.
- Budget Tools — own budget-allocation and scenario-planning tooling; partner with Finance/S&O so it reflects planning and actuals; own the marketing-mix recommendation layer for AOP/QBR.
- 3rd-Party Data Integrations — own sourcing, contracting, and integration of data vendors/pipelines feeding reporting, attribution, and budget tools; make sunset/consolidate/replace calls.
- Analytics & Analytics Engineering Partnership — be the single marketing-side DRI to Analytics and Analytics Eng; bring prioritized requirements to their roadmap; sit in planning reviews and defend marketing's priorities.
- Adoption & Governance — own training, documentation, and adoption tracking; maintain a clean roadmap view for marketing leadership.
- 8+ years in marketing analytics, measurement, data product management, or growth/performance marketing in high-scale, multi-market digital businesses.
- Deep understanding of attribution and incrementality/experimentation methodology, and how they fit together.
- Experience partnering closely with data science and analytics engineering teams, translating business needs into structured briefs and roadmaps.
- Strong data fluency (SQL, Looker/Snowflake-level) to credibly review and challenge Analytics/Analytics Eng output.
- Financial/budget acumen; comfort working with Finance/S&O planning cycles.
- Experience evaluating, contracting, and managing 3rd-party data/measurement vendors, including build-vs-buy decisions.
- Strong product mindset — prioritizing a portfolio and driving delivery through influence, not direct authority.
- Excellent stakeholder management, able to simplify complex measurement trade-offs for senior leadership.
- People-management experience or a clear track record of growing into it.
- Experience scaling a measurement function out of a fragmented starting point.
- Familiarity with mobile measurement partners, reverse-ETL/feed platforms, cost-aggregation tools.
- Experience in marketplace, delivery, or subscription businesses across many markets.
- Exposure to AI/LLM-powered reporting (e.g., natural-language reporting, automated WBR commentary).
Build the single source of truth for how a multi-billion-euro marketing budget is measured, attributed, and allocated — with direct influence over how Analytics and Analytics Eng prioritize their roadmap for marketing.
Next stepOur hiring process prioritizes quality over speed to ensure we find the right long-term fit for this critical role. Candidates move through the process one step at a time, typically starting with an initial screen and a hiring manager interview, followed by a take-home case study presentation, concluding with a final value-fit conversation.
We’re committed to growing and empowering a more inclusive community within our company, industry, and cities. That’s why we hire and cultivate diverse teams of people from all backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. We believe that true innovation happens when everyone has room at the table and the tools, resources, and opportunity to excel.
