About the Role

We’re seeking a marketing and communications leader with proven experience originating and executing strategy across the full stack of marketing and comms, from brand and PR to digital, content, events, and sales enablement. This is a hands-on, high-impact role for a top-calibre, ambitious, and commercially-minded leader who thrives in high-growth, fast-paced environments.You’ll be responsible for leading JOLT’s marketing and communications strategy and execution across Australia and New Zealand, driving brand and business growth, customer engagement, and commercial outcomes, with a strong focus on data-led decision-making and go-to-market strategy.

Media & Advertising Clients

  • Lead marketing strategies to grow JOLT’s digital out-of-home and in-app advertising business.
  • Partner with the Ad Sales team to deliver commercially impactful collateral, value propositions, and pitch materials.
  • Proven expertise in creating and implementing data-led go-to-market (GTM) strategies, leveraging insights to drive positioning, targeting, messaging, and commercial growth.
  • Drive PR, events, and thought leadership to position JOLT as a leader in ad tech and media.

Council & Landowner Partners

  • Collaborate with the Network Growth team to engage councils, governments, and landowners.
  • Develop tenders, presentations, and supporting collateral tailored to public sector and private landowner needs.
  • Position JOLT as a trusted partner for sustainability, transport equity, and electrification.

Leadership & Strategic Focus

  • Originate and implement marketing strategy across ANZ, balancing brand, demand, PR, digital, events, content, and full-stack marketing responsibilities.
  • Develop and execute data-led GTM strategies, leveraging insights and analytics to drive positioning, targeting, messaging, and commercial growth.
  • Own the ANZ Marketing & Communications strategy, ensuring alignment with global brand direction.
  • Deliver both strategic outputs (e.g., GTM propositions, campaign strategies) and tactical activations (e.g., sales collateral, social content, PR briefs).
  • Partner closely with commercial, technology, and data teams to align marketing with business growth objectives.
  • Represent ANZ marketing in senior forums, championing local priorities while contributing to global initiatives.
  • Lead planning and execution of ANZ marketing events and activations with a focus on commercial impact and innovation.

About you

  • Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business, Media, or similar preferable
  • 10–15 years’ proven experience in media, ad tech, advertising, or related industries, ideally in high-growth, start-up, or scale-up environments preferable
  • Commercially astute, with a track record of supporting business growth.
  • Data-led and strategic, with demonstrated ability to leverage complex insights to inform marketing strategy and GTM planning.
  • Proven experience in originating and implementing strategy across the full stack of marketing and communications.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across commercial, government, and consumer audiences.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to simplify complex information.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset — thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments, balancing strategy with hands-on execution.
  • Passion for sustainability, technology, and sparking change in energy and transport.
