Are you ready to revolutionise the world with TEKEVER?

At TEKEVER, we lead innovation in Europe as the European leader in unmanned technology, where cutting-edge advancements meet unparalleled innovation.

Digital | Defence | Security | Space

We operate across four strategic areas, combining artificial intelligence, systems engineering, data science, and aerospace technology to tackle global challenges — from protecting people and critical infrastructure to exploring space.

We offer a unique surveillance-as-a-service solution that delivers real-time intelligence, enhancing maritime safety and saving lives. Our products and services support strategic and operational decisions in the most demanding environments — whether at sea, on land, in space, or in cyberspace.

Become part of a dynamic, multidisciplinary, and mission-driven team that is transforming maritime surveillance and redefining global safety standards.

At TEKEVER, our mission is to provide limitless support through mission-oriented game-changers, delivering the right information at the right time to empower critical decision-making.

If you're passionate about technology and eager to shape the future — TEKEVER is the place for you.

The Role

The Country Head of Logistics is a senior leadership position with strategic accountability for the design, performance and growth of Tekever's UK logistics network, encompassing transport, customs and trade compliance, receiving, warehousing, line feeding, shipping and inventory. Across these areas, you will define the strategy, build the organisation, put in place the systems, partners and governance, and lead the managers who deliver operational excellence.

As a member of the UK operations leadership team, you will shape how logistics enables Tekever's industrial ramp-up: designing a multi-site network that can scale with production rates, representing logistics in S&OP and investment decisions, and positioning the function as a source of competitive advantage — in cost, speed, resilience and compliance.

Strategic Accountabilities

  • Logistics Strategy & Network Design — Define and own the UK logistics strategy and multi-year roadmap, aligned with Tekever's industrial strategy and production ramp-up plans; translate it into organisation, capability, infrastructure and investment plans.

  • Operating Model — Design the target operating model across all sites: make-or-buy decisions (in-house vs 3PL), warehouse footprint and capacity planning, transport network architecture, and the service levels the function commits to internal and external customers.

  • Organisation & Leadership — Build, lead and develop the logistics leadership team; define the organisational structure, roles and succession plans needed to scale from today's operation to full-rate production; instil a culture of safety, accountability and continuous improvement.

  • Regulatory Compliance — Ensure that all logistics operations comply with applicable regulations and company policies, including UK customs rules, export controls for defence goods (UK Strategic Export Controls, ITAR), and dangerous goods requirements; embed compliant processes across transport, warehousing and shipping, and support audits and inspections in coordination with the company's trade compliance function.

  • End-to-End Flow Ownership — Set the strategy, policies and performance framework for the end-to-end material flow — transport, customs, receiving, warehousing, line feeding, shipping and inventory — holding operational managers accountable for delivery against agreed KPIs.

  • Executive Partnership — Represent logistics on the UK operations leadership team and in S&OP; partner with Procurement, Manufacturing, Quality, Programmes and Finance to ensure logistics is embedded in industrialisation decisions, new programme bids and customer commitments.

  • Systems & Digitalisation — Define and drive the digital roadmap for logistics — ERP/WMS/TMS architecture, automation, data and analytics — to deliver visibility, scalability and decision-making capability across the network.

  • Budget & Commercial Strategy — Own the logistics P&L and capital investment cases; lead strategic negotiations with carriers, freight forwarders and 3PL partners; structure long-term partnerships that balance cost, resilience and flexibility.

  • Risk & Resilience — Anticipate and mitigate supply chain and logistics risks (capacity, geopolitical, regulatory, single points of failure); build resilience and contingency into the network design, and ensure business continuity for defence-critical programmes.

  • Transformation & Continuous Improvement — Champion transformation: lead the maturity journey of the logistics function through Lean principles, process standardisation and performance management, setting the ambition and removing barriers for your teams.

What We're Looking For

  • A proven senior logistics or supply chain leader (typically 10+ years, with significant time in leadership roles) from manufacturing — ideally aerospace, defence or another regulated, high-complexity industry.

  • Demonstrable experience defining logistics strategy and operating models, and building or transforming logistics organisations — not just running them.

  • Experience leading managers and multi-site teams, with a track record of developing leadership talent and scaling functions through periods of rapid growth.

  • Solid working knowledge of UK customs and international trade, including export controls for military/dual-use goods and dangerous goods regulations, and experience running logistics operations in compliance with them.

  • Familiarity with AS9100/ISO 9001 environments.

  • Strong commercial and financial acumen: P&L ownership, investment cases, and strategic negotiation of carrier, forwarder and 3PL partnerships.

  • Experience shaping systems landscapes (ERP/WMS/TMS) and using data to drive network-level decisions.

  • Credibility from boardroom to shop floor: able to influence executives, customers and authorities while staying connected to operational reality.

  • Right to work in the UK and eligibility to obtain UK security clearance (SC) is required, given the defence nature of our work.

What We Offer

  • An excellent work environment and an opportunity to make a difference.

  • Salary commensurate with level of experience.

  • Company pension contribution matched up to 10%.

  • 25 days annual holiday + 8 Bank holidays.

  • Medical Insurance.

  • Dental Insurance.

  • Salary sacrifice initiatives (EV Scheme, Cycle 2 Work, Tech Scheme)

  • Discretionary annual company bonus.
