As the Head of Live Content, you’ll play a pivotal role in the events industry, strategizing and leading the creative vision for live experiences that captivate and engage Red Bull consumers and audiences. Leveraging your extensive experience in live production, you’ll transform concepts into extraordinary shows that set new industry standards. Your leadership will extend beyond operational oversight as you harness both creative and technical expertise to innovate and elevate live content.
By blending cutting-edge technology with compelling storytelling and design, you’ll craft experiences that fulfil consumer expectations and resonate deeply with live event attendees.
Strategic Leadership and Creative Direction
You'll lead the strategic planning and creative direction for live content initiatives, aligning them with brand and marketing objectives. Overseeing a team of junior, senior, and executive producers, you’ll ensure all tasks meet Red Bull’s standards and values, creating engaging events that captivate audiences.
Cross-Functional Collaboration and Production Oversight
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you’ll bring events to life through on-screen content, graphics, video, and live performances, with a strong focus on talent management. You'll manage the production process end-to-end, creating a master production schedule and rehearsal plan with project owners, and working with producers and project managers to streamline all event operations.
Innovation and Stakeholder Management
You'll integrate advanced technology and innovative design elements to enhance the attendee experience, while fostering partnerships with external industry partners and internal stakeholders to achieve shared objectives. To ensure seamless execution, you'll support technical and artistic production from inception to project wrap-up, attending production meetings and rehearsals to clarify roles and provide ongoing support to your team.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in producing large-scale live events, with a portfolio demonstrating success in managing complex projects and delivering impactful results.
- Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with experience inspiring creativity and cultivating a collaborative, innovative culture among junior, senior, and executive producers.
- Strong background in creative visual storytelling, with a passion for brands, narratives, events, theater, and live/physical design.
- Expertise in advanced event technologies, design principles, and industry trends, paired with a strong technical proficiency in tools that support high-quality event execution.
- Strategic vision with the ability to align creative processes with business goals and collaborate closely with global content leaders, external experts, and consultants.
- Proficiency in budget management and financial oversight, ensuring all projects stay aligned with expected costs and resources.
- Deep understanding of audience behaviors across media channels, including traditional media, streaming platforms, YouTube, and social media, to reach target audiences effectively.
- Experience with insights and analytics, using data to understand audience behaviors and inform content development, tailoring live events to maximize engagement.
- Solid foundation in marketing integration, working closely with sports and culture marketing teams to align live content with overarching brand and campaign objectives.
- Team-player mentality with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, skilled in engaging with stakeholders, networking, and presenting to senior leaders.
Additional Information
Due to legal reasons we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is €2.229 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
