As Head of Legal and Compliance, you will be responsible for leading all legal and compliance activities to enable PT Roche Indonesia (Diagnostics) to be commercially successful in the Indonesia In-Vitro Diagnostic market.
Your Opportunity:

Closely monitor, research, and keep abreast of trends and changes in relevant global, regional, and local legal and regulatory requirements and standards.

Identify areas where events and topics have significant impacts on Roche activities and operations, and propose risk mitigation action plans for implementation.

Represent Roche Diagnostics locally when dealing with Regional/Global teams as well as external lawyers.

Support the Financial Controller to ensure all official and contractual documents and legal activities/practices are in line with local laws, and the risk for potential litigations is adequately mitigated.

Take a key role in promoting high standards of integrity. Ensure compliance in line with global guidelines as well as local laws and regulations through adequate procedures and process controls.

Lead the local Compliance Officer in fostering a climate and culture of compliance through training, monitoring, and proactively addressing compliance issues.

Support the company’s comprehensive compliance program, ensure its effectiveness is monitored, and non-compliance matters are addressed adequately.

Ensure adequate procedures to timely identify gaps within local policies, processes, procedures, and systems and drive initiatives to close these gaps.
Who you are:
- University degree majoring in Law with legal qualification is required. A postgraduate degree (e.g. MSc or higher) in a relevant area would be desirable.
- 10+ years of experience in recognized law firm, accounting firm, multinational company’s legal, compliance or internal audit function, with strong interest in compliance
- Experienced in leading a legal and compliance team within the healthcare industry required.
- Proven experience working in teams through collaborative technological innovation in an agile environment or continuous improvement efforts that have yielded tangible results and/or positive impact for patients or business stakeholders.
- Possesses leadership and people influencing skills
- Proven ability to create and sustain strong collaborative relationships and networks with diverse stakeholders across a complex global organization.
- Intrapreneurial mindset with proven ability to incubate and foster agile organizations within a complex, global corporate environment.
- Demonstrates courage, vision, and drive to achieve results at the forefront of innovative technological changes.
