YOUR MISSION:
Define and ensure the implementation of the strategy within the assigned scope that aligns with the overall Group IT & Technology strategy and long-term business objectives of the assigned organizational unit(s).
HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?
- Define and implement the strategy within the assigned scope, ensuring alignment with the Group IT strategy and long-term business objectives.
- Establish service architectural standards for technology services and components, including applications, data, integration, technology, security, and business domains within the area of responsibility. Present actionable recommendations to business and IT leaders to adjust policies and projects for achieving target business outcomes.
- Develop and implement strategic plans for a significant area of responsibility, anticipating complex issues, challenges, and opportunities, ensuring integration with the broader functional strategy.
- Optimize resources and assets within a significant area or department through tactical planning.
- Provide expert advice to senior managers at the business unit or regional level to facilitate the implementation of policies, projects, and change initiatives.
- Manage departmental budget plans, including development and delivery.
- Propose and develop annual business plans for a given area or department, ensuring alignment with overall strategy. Recommend financial and headcount budgets, propose business targets, and schedule key activities/projects, ensuring integration with other organizational elements.
- Communicate and implement the function's strategy and business plan within the business area or department, explaining the relationship to the broader organization's mission, vision, and values. Motivate employees to commit to these principles and achieve local business goals.
- Identify and manage stakeholders up to the management level, addressing their needs, issues, and concerns. Lead and coordinate the development of stakeholder engagement plans to support business information and decision-making communication.
- Manage and report on departmental performance, setting appropriate performance objectives for direct reports and holding individuals accountable for achieving them. Take corrective action where necessary to ensure the achievement of annual business objectives.
- Contribute to defining the organizational structure by recommending reporting lines, identifying interfaces between organizational elements, and proposing roles and responsibilities to align with corporate structure and principles.
- Evaluate staff capabilities within the department to identify gaps and prioritize development activities. Implement formal development frameworks within the area of responsibility. Coach and mentor others to support the development of the organization's talent pool.

- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field. MBA or executive education is a plus.
