Key Areas of Responsibilities 

• Create and govern the yearly IT budget

• Provide regular updates to department heads on the forecasts and actuals

• Closely track unused budget and rightly allocates to the right team

• Help procurement team to map costs to budget

• Provide accurate allocation methods to finance department to charge business departments

• Create management reports on various financial aspects of IT

• Integrate with parent company in Beijing on maintaining consistency of budgeting process across the organization

• Sync up with workforce team on actual headcounts

• Maintain resource timesheet for feeding HC cost allocation to Finance

• Maintain Physical asset depreciation and assist on annual stock take exercise

• Look out for opportunity to optimize the process and automate and innovate using right tools

   

Requirements 

• Bachelor/Master Degree in information system management or Accounting/business related studies

• 10-15 years of experience in managing multimillion dollar budgets of a department or a function

• Accounting background and qualification is a must

• Experience in creating & tracking yearly budget

• Experience of handling budget and spend management tools

• Understands the concepts of cost allocation

• Extensive experience in creating management reporting/dashboards

• Expert in MS Excel and PowerPoint – should be able to create detailed dashboards in excel and management presentation

• Should demonstrate experience of working independently and in a team

• Preferably from a banking industry

• Preferably with technology background and experience in IT COO office
