Head of Invoicing, EMEA

Role

We are creating a new Head of Invoicing role to lead our Invoicing function across the Europe, Middle East and Africa ("EMEA") region, bringing together teams that currently operate separately across the region into a single, unified function. This role brings senior leadership, structure and consistency to how we manage invoicing end to end, and will standardise practice in an ERP-agnostic way — building the foundation for a future move to a single group ERP.

What you'll do

• You'll take end-to-end ownership of the EMEA invoicing function, defining strategy, governance, policies, procedures, and a standardized control framework that supports regional consistency and future ERP integration.
• You'll build, lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team across multiple locations, providing clear direction, performance management, and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• You'll serve as the senior invoicing lead across EMEA, partnering with Finance leadership, the Regional CFO, operational, sales, client services teams, and clients to resolve escalations, improve processes, and strengthen billing discipline.
• You'll drive invoicing excellence by improving billing accuracy, timeliness, completeness, and dispute resolution, maximizing revenue protection while delivering insight-led reporting on performance, cycle times, backlog, accuracy, and revenue impact.
• You'll lead invoicing-related transformation initiatives, including ERP standardization and broader systems and process change, ensuring invoicing requirements are effectively represented as the business evolves and supporting other priorities as required.

About You

• You have significant experience in invoicing, billing, order-to-cash, or revenue operations, with a proven track record of leading, developing, and managing teams across multiple countries, shared service environments, or onshore/offshore delivery models.
• You have successfully led process, policy, systems, or ERP transformation initiatives, including standardizing practices across multiple ERP or billing platforms and supporting ERP migration, consolidation, or system-agnostic process design.
• You are a confident and credible communicator with the ability to influence senior stakeholders, represent the business externally with clients, and balance hands-on operational delivery with strategic leadership.
• You have strong expertise in improving billing accuracy, timeliness, and revenue realization, supported by excellent analytical, organizational, attention-to-detail, and problem-solving skills, along with advanced MS Office and Excel capabilities.
• You bring a strong results-driven mindset, an understanding of multi-currency and multi-jurisdiction operations in a global environment, fluency in English, and ideally French language skills and a professional accountancy or finance qualification.
