Head of Investor Relations

Figure is an AI Robotics company developing a general purpose humanoid. Our humanoid robot, Figure 02, is designed for commercial tasks and the home. We are based in San Jose, CA and require 5 days/week in-office collaboration. It’s time to build.

The Head of Investor Relations will be responsible for all capital raising activity and maintaining key partnerships for the Figure. This includes pre-marketing, primary capital raises, annual secondary capital raises, investor materials and demonstrations, and building/maintaining investor relationships. 

Responsibilities:

• Responsible all capital raising strategy and execution 
• Includes pre-marketing activity, primary capital raise, and annual secondary capital raises 
• Includes all investor materials and datarooms 
• Includes demonstrations for investors 
• Includes all capital raising contracts (side letters, equity raise documents, LOIs, etc.) with legal function support
• Includes constantly generating new investor relationships and maintaining current relationships 
• Includes presenting financial information (quarterly statements, financial model, commercial model, etc.) and technical engineering information (build of materials, supply chain, AI polices, etc)
• Responsible for key partnership relationships 
• This includes investors who have scope of relationship outside just investing such as suppliers and other vendors 

Requirements: 

• Excellent communication skills
• Minimum of 7-10 years of capital raising experience 
• At least some of this experience should be with earlier stage companies (pre- or minimal revenue companies) 
• Experience presenting highly technical information (engineering, AI policies, etc.) 
• Experience presenting financial models and other financial materials 
• Experience relationship building and maintaining 
• Experience negotiating contracts 

Bonus Qualifications: 

• Engineering background, either hardware or software
• Experience in deeptech hardware 

The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $225,000 - $350,000 annually.

The pay offered for this position may vary based on several individual factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package may also include additional components/benefits depending on the specific role. This information will be shared if an employment offer is extended.
