What you'll do

Working closely with the NatWest Cushon Investment Office and Chief Investment Officer, internal cross-functional teams, and other key stakeholders, you’ll be responsible for driving forward enhancements to our investment strategy, ensuring suitability across various client groups, risk profiles, and client outcomes.

Collaborating with our Growth team, you’ll help to promote our investment proposition to investment consultants, existing and prospective clients, and our members.

You’ll also be responsible for:

• Identifying suitable fund changes, developing investment models and portfolios and leading on the SAA development and reviews
• Providing feedback and investment analysis to senior colleagues, committees, and forums
• Ensuring that investment models and portfolios remain in line with agreed portfolio risk budget and portfolio performance objectives

The skills you'll need

To join us in this role, you’ll have deep knowledge and extensive experience with multi-asset investing and asset allocation for UK pension funds, institutional investment management, (defined benefits, defined contributions pension schemes, insurers or investment consultancies). You’ll have excellent analytical skills, demonstrated financial modelling experience, ability to lead model development and a proven ability to drive forward investment strategy.

With excellent presentation skills and experience, you’ll be comfortable presenting at conferences and seminars, and with both specialist and wider audiences.

You’ll also bring:

• A proven ability of managing multiple stakeholders between different parts of the business
• An understanding of responsible investing and regulatory landscapes
• The ability to lead and contribute to collaborative projects
• Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing
