Job Summary
The Team Lead, Management Accounting will oversee management reporting, budgeting, and financial planning across Mojec. The role holder will ensure accurate financial analysis, cost control, and strategic financial decision- making support within the organization.
- Lead IT strategy and planning, ensuring timely acquisition and renewal of all required licenses and permits, while monitoring regulatory changes and maintaining full compliance across group operations.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and relevant authorities to address compliance issues and maintain strong, constructive relationships.
- Oversee Enterprise Architecture, IT Infrastructure, Systems Development, and IT Security & Risk Management functions, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and governance standards.
- Drive enterprise-wide architecture, infrastructure, and systems initiatives to support scalability, reliability, and long-term digital transformation goals.
- Ensure robust IT security, risk management, and crisis response frameworks, safeguarding systems, data, and organizational reputation.
- Lead engagement with government agencies, industry bodies, and key external stakeholders to advance the group’s strategic interests where IT-related matters apply.
- Build, lead, and develop high-performing IT teams, providing mentorship, professional development, and fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
- Establish, monitor, and report on KPIs for IT performance and delivery, ensuring accountability, continuous improvement, and value creation.
- Prepare regular performance and status reports for the COO and senior management, ensuring IT initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and to agreed standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field;
- Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a relevant postgraduate qualification required. MBA is an added advantage.
- Relevant professional certifications such as CISM, CISSP, or equivalent required; membership in professional bodies is preferred.
- Minimum of 12 years’ IT experience, including at least 4 years in a senior management role, with a proven track record of leading IT functions in large organizations or groups.
- Experience in the power, agro, solar, mining, or real estate sectors is highly desirable.
- Strong expertise in IT systems, enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, data protection regulations, and IT security best practices.
- Demonstrated knowledge of digital transformation, cloud computing, emerging technologies, and modern IT project management and software development methodologies.
- Proficiency in IT management and security tools, with strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities, including crisis management.
- Exceptional leadership, team-building, and stakeholder management skills, with excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to evolving organizational needs with a results-oriented mindset.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, ethical standards, accountability, collaboration, and an innovative approach focused on continuous improvement.
