Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Head – HSS Design to lead the structural design function with strong expertise in Hollow Structural Sections (HSS) / steel structures.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the complete structural design function for HSS / steel structure projects.
Review and approve structural designs, calculations and engineering deliverables.
Lead design teams and provide technical guidance on complex structural requirements.
Perform and review structural analysis and design using STAAD Pro, ETABS and IDEA StatiCa.
Ensure structural designs comply with applicable Indian / international design codes and project specifications.
Review connection design, load calculations, structural stability and member sizing.
Coordinate with engineering, detailing, project and execution teams for design requirements.
Resolve complex technical/design issues and provide cost-effective structural solutions.
Review and approve design drawings, calculations and technical submissions.
Manage multiple projects and ensure timely completion of design deliverables.
Requirements
Must Have:
15–20 years of relevant experience in Structural Design / Steel Structures / HSS.
M.Tech / M.E. in Structural Engineering.
Strong hands-on expertise in STAAD Pro / ETABS / IDEA StatiCa.
Strong knowledge of steel structure design and connection design.
Experience in leading a structural design team.
Strong understanding of structural design codes, calculations and engineering practices.
Skills Required

- M.Tech or M.E. in Structural Engineering
- Hands-on expertise in STAAD Pro, ETABS, and IDEA StatiCa
