About the role Job SummaryThe HR Director is responsible for leading HR strategy and operations for a business unit or function. This role supports organizational goals through effective talent management, workforce planning, and employee engagement.
This job profile is intended for senior leaders that support the mid to long-term (3–5 years) strategy development for their functional area, and have ownership of the short to mid-term (1–3 years) execution of functional strategy/operational direction. Requires ability to communicate with and influence executive leadership. Typically manage multiple teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals supporting 3 divisions across multiple countries in the region
- Lead talent acquisition, development, and retention efforts.
- Oversee payroll, compensation, benefits, and performance management.
- Lead labor cost budgeting process across multiple countries in the region.
- Partner with Legal Counsel to drive compliance culture.
- Ensure compliance with HR policies and labor laws.
- Partner with leadership to drive organizational effectiveness.
- Lead HR projects to improve in operational performance.
- Lead a team of HR professionals in the region.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Requires a minimum of 8 - 10 years of relevant working experience in a similar industry in managerial capacity.
- A degree in relevant field such as business management or Human Resources is preferred.
- Strong HR leadership and strategic planning experience.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to lead HR teams and initiatives.
- Able to multi-task and detail oriented.
