We are seeking a seasoned Head of Growth to lead our strategic expansion in the maritime defence sector, working closely with the Royal Australian Navy, government agencies, and industry partners to safeguard Australia’s maritime interests and enhance operational readiness.

Located centrally in Woolloomooloo's Garden Island, on Gadigal land your role purpose will be -

  • Shape and execute growth strategies that deliver real impact across sustainment, maintenance, and supply chains 

  • Lead and manage the full sales pipeline from identifying opportunities to securing high-value contracts 

  • Collaborate closely with global teams while tailoring solutions for local defence needs 

  • Influence Australia’s maritime security by aligning cutting-edge technology with sovereign priorities 

On day one in this role, we'll expect you to bring the following skills, experience and behaviours:

  • Proven business development and sales leadership in the maritime or defence sectors 

  • Strong strategic thinker with outstanding stakeholder engagement and communication skills 

  • Experience navigating complex capture and bid processes 

  • Relevant qualifications in Defence, Engineering, Science, Business or related fields

Prior to being offered employment, you will need to complete pre-employment police and (role dependent) medical checks.

A NV 1 Defence security clearance is required for this role; applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain an appropriate clearance.

In some cases, individuals who hold a current clearance from a foreign government may be eligible to have this clearance recognised by the Australian Government and be eligible for this role.
