About Letaido

Letaido is an AI teammate for marketing teams. Not a chatbot that answers questions — an agent with its own workspace, that does the work: pulls the data, builds the tool, writes the report, ships the page, and keeps it running on a schedule.

Ask it for a content gap analysis and it queries Ahrefs directly. Ask it to track competitor ads and it builds you an app for that and keeps it updated. It connects to the systems marketers already live in HubSpot, Slack, Notion, Google Ads, Search Console, Stripe and around fifty others — and it can stand up a public site or an internal dashboard without a developer.

It’s built inside Ahrefs, which gives it something almost no AI product has: fifteen years of web crawling infrastructure, petabytes of first-party index data, and no investors setting the timeline.

We are Ahrefs, a bootstrapped company that builds SEO and marketing tools used by hundreds of thousands of professionals worldwide. We’ve been profitable and independent for fifteen years, which means we answer to our users rather than to investors.

The role

You’ll own how Letaido gets discovered, and you’ll be the first person accountable for it.

The interesting part: people increasingly find software by asking an AI assistant rather than searching for it. You’d be growing an AI product, for an audience that researches using AI, at the company whose data most of those assistants are quietly built on. If you’ve been arguing that this changes how organic growth works, this is a place to prove it.

It’s hands-on and foundational at the same time. There is no playbook to inherit and no agency doing the work behind you — you’ll do the work yourself, and what you prove out becomes how we do it from then on.

You’ll report directly to the Head of Letaido, so the distance between your idea and a decision is one conversation.

This role is based out of one of our US offices — Palo Alto or Cambridge (MA). You can be based in whichever of these you have the legal right to work in, but this is an on-site role: we’re looking for someone who’ll be in the office with the team.

What you’ll do
  • Own organic growth for Letaido end to end — strategy, execution and results. Content, SEO, technical foundations and the editorial standard.
  • Get Letaido cited by AI assistants, not just ranked in Google. You’ll have Ahrefs Brand Radar to measure it, which is more than most people in this job can say.
  • Build the content engine — commission it, edit it, or write it yourself. Early on, mostly yourself.
  • Show the product doing real work. The best marketing for an agent that builds things is the things it built, so expect to publish what you make with it.
  • Run experiments across the rest of the funnel: newsletter, partnerships, community, paid where it earns its place.
  • Instrument everything, and be honest about what isn’t working.
  • Hire and lead the team once the channel is proven — starting with the roles you’ve established the need for.
  • Use Letaido itself to do the job. You’ll be its most demanding user, and the fastest route from "this is broken" to a fix is a conversation with the team who build it.
You’ll thrive here if
  • You’ve been an early growth or organic hire at a startup and watched it scale — you know what the first hundred pieces of content feel like, not just the thousandth.
  • You’ve grown a product’s organic acquisition from a standing start, and you can show what you did and what it produced.
  • You write. Well, and quickly. You have opinions about what makes a piece worth publishing.
  • You understand technical SEO properly — site architecture, indexation, internal linking — and can hold your own with engineers.
  • You’ve thought seriously about how AI assistants surface and cite products, and you can tell the difference between what actually moves citations and what’s currently fashionable to claim.
  • You’d rather own a number than manage a process.
  • You want to be in a room with the team. This is a small group doing early-stage work, and that goes better in person.
Bonus
  • You’ve built an audience of your own — a newsletter, a following, a community.
  • Experience marketing developer tools, marketing tools, or anything sold to practitioners who can smell a bad claim.
  • You’ve worked with AI agents or LLM tooling seriously enough to have opinions about where they’re genuinely useful.
  • You’ve hired and managed writers or editors.
  • Paid acquisition experience, so you know when organic is the wrong answer.
What we offer
  • Ownership of a channel and the freedom to run it your way
  • Direct line to the Head of Letaido — small team, few layers, quick decisions
  • The data and tooling of a fifteen-year-old SEO company behind an early-stage product
  • Daily use of the thing you’re marketing, and a direct line to the people building it
  • Annual company retreat (usually skiing)
  • Conference and learning budget
  • A properly equipped office, and lunch on us

What We Do

Ahrefs Pte. Ltd. is a software company that develops online SEO tools and free educational materials for marketing professionals. Ahrefs is an all-in-one SEO toolset for growing search traffic and optimizing websites. To do that, Ahrefs crawls the web, stores tons of data and makes it accessible via a simple user interface. When Ahrefs launched its first tool, Site Explorer, it disrupted the stagnant field of backlink analysis and kickstarted a new round of competition among SEO tool providers. It quickly became one of the world’s best backlink analysis tools. Since then, Ahrefs has grown into a complete SEO suite by developing tools like Keywords Explorer for keyword research, Content Explorer for analyzing content, Rank Tracker for monitoring keyword rankings, and Site Audit for auditing and optimizing websites.
