The Opportunity: 


As the head of Growth Marketing you will be Responsible for the efforts and team at Belong to generate new qualified homeowner leads for the sales team, hitting strict cost-per lead targets and quality scores, as well as the efforts to nurture the sales pipeline with automation and content. This includes setting channel strategy, leading creative development workstreams, setting performance targets, owning channel execution, running performance analysis, and implementing daily optimizations. This is a hybrid role that includes both team management and hands-on execution.


Responsibilities:


Department Leader: Oversee the broader DemandGen efforts at Belong, which includes Paid Channels, Organic Channels, Email/SMS automations, Content Development, and Creative Development. In this capacity, you should be an inspirational leader who can set the vision for the future of Belong’s growth efforts, as well as someone who rolls up their sleeves to dive deep into the weeds with the team.


Channel Ownership: Oversee the team that runs our paid channels including Paid Search, Outbound Calling, and Affiliate Marketing, with the responsibility to operate within specific CPL and CPA performance targets, and to increase media spend in lockstep with our company’s growth trajectory. Should personally spend 25-30% of their time running a channel as an IC, which could include launching new channels for Belong. 


Optimization & Creative Development: Develop a robust test-and-learn plan to improve spend efficiency, rooted in deep customer empathy and meticulously tracked performance metrics. Work internally with content writers and graphic designers to develop new landing pages, ads and targeting ideas.


Accountability & Communication. Provide visibility throughout the organization on the health and status of acquisition programs, including daily & weekly recap reports with summary digest, guidance on volume relative to plan, monthly growth analytics meeting prep and reporting, creative learning sharing, create test launches, etc.


Tracking & Tech Set Up: Set up and manage tracking tags across all performance marketing channels working with our frontend development team, using Google Tag Manager.


Qualifications:


- Bachelor’s degree in any quantitative field (Business, Math, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Science, Engineering)

- 6+ years of experience in growth marketing with experience in channel management as well as in lead generation. Proven track record of driving continuous performance improvements and operating within strict CPA or CPL targets. If you do not have hands-on experience running paid channels or managing a team that did, this is not the role for you.

- Industry Knowledge: Prior experience in real estate, property management, or residential construction is highly advantageous but not required.

- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team, focusing on mentorship and professional development.

- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interface effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
