About this role
We’re looking for a strategic and commercially driven Head of Growth & Commercial to lead the growth agenda for nib Thrive.
This is a critical leadership role responsible for setting and delivering a sustainable growth strategy, driving participant acquisition, retention and expansion through a mix of direct channels (inbound/outbound contact centre), referral partnerships and business development.
You’ll design and execute end-to-end growth capability, owning pipeline performance, conversion outcomes and commercial impact, while positioning nib Thrive as a trusted partner across the disability and health ecosystem.
Working closely with the Group Executive and senior stakeholders, you will:
Define and deliver the growth strategy and operating model
Lead acquisition, retention and partner-led growth channels
Build and deepen strategic relationships that drive measurable outcomes
Optimise the end-to-end funnel to improve conversion and scalability
Use data and insights to prioritise investment and performance decisions
Build and lead a high-performing, commercially focused team
This role sits at the intersection of strategy, commercial performance and market engagement, requiring strong leadership in a dynamic, growth-focused environment.
About you
You’re an experienced commercial leader with a strong track record of driving growth outcomes at scale, balancing performance with customer and market needs.
You will bring:
Senior leadership experience across growth, sales or commercial functions
Proven experience delivering acquisition and retention strategies
Strong business development experience, including partnership and referral channels
Commercial and analytical capability with a data-driven mindset
Experience building and leading high-performing teams
Strong stakeholder influence, including executive and external engagement
Desirable:
Experience in NDIS, disability, health or regulated environments
Exposure to growth transformation or scaling partner-led channels
Experience in complex, consumer-led sales environments
Experience managing frontline teams and sales agents
