At Electrolux Professional Group we hire to meet needs beyond tomorrow
HEAD OF GROUP STRATEGY AND PROCESSES
The Head of Group Strategy & Processes is the President & CEO’s integrator and force multiplier. The role exists for one reason: to make sure the few priorities the Group has chosen are executed better and faster than they would be otherwise.
The role reports to the President & CEO. It carries no P&L, no line responsibility and no direct reports. Its authority is derived entirely from the CEO’s mandate, not from hierarchy. The holder works across all five Business Areas and all Group Functions, and is expected to be trusted equally by each of them — an honest broker with no territory of their own to defend, and a resource that helps leaders move faster rather than a checkpoint they must clear.
This is a demanding, high-exposure role with a defined horizon. It is designed as a preparation for a senior line position within the Group.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Run the Group strategy process end to end: coordinate deep-dive workshops, and the Business Area and Group Function strategy reviews — helping leaders firm up their own strategy and priority plans, without owning or judging those plans on their behalf.
Make time, information and decision processes across the Group measurably more effective — fewer things, decided once, moving faster.
Help translate the Group’s priorities into a single, visible set of commitments — each with one named owner and one hard date — and keep them alive until they are delivered.
Act as the integrator across Group initiatives that span Business Areas and Group Functions, where no single leader owns the whole; surface friction, ownership gaps and unmade decisions early, and route them to the right forum.
Drive follow-through on decisions taken — tracking progress, unblocking dependencies and escalating early — so that what the Group commits to actually lands, without taking ownership away from the leaders who are accountable.
Support the operating rhythm of Group Management: agenda architecture, memos distributed ahead of meetings, decision logs, and records circulated within hours — so that decisions are made once, recorded, and followed through.
Prepare the CEO’s Board, investor and leadership communication in close cooperation with the CFO, Investor Relations and Communications, and General Counsel.
Serve as a confidant and thought partner to the CEO on sensitive strategic, organizational and governance matters, with absolute discretion.
WHAT’S NEEDED FOR YOU TO THRIVE
Master’s degree, MBA or other relevant field, strongly preferred
10 to 15 years’ experience in an international business setting, combining strong strategic capability — from top-tier strategy consulting, corporate strategy or private equity — with at least one operational role in a business carrying real, delivered accountability. Operating experience is essential, not optional: this is an operator who can think strategically, not a strategist who has never had to make things happen.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate concisely on all levels of the organization.
Understanding of Board, investor and governance rhythms in a listed environment
Proven ability to influence and mobilize senior leaders without formal authority, and to get things done through people who do not report to them
Outstanding structuring and written communication skills; able to reduce a complex situation to one page and a recommendation
Comfortable with ambiguity, high pace and shifting priorities; a finisher who closes the loop on what is started
Sound commercial and operational judgement; credible in a factory and in a boardroom on the same day
Absolute personal integrity and discretion in handling confidential matters
Fluent English; additional languages an advantage
Experience in an industrial B2B or manufacturing environment is considered an advantage
Readiness to travel extensively
