Summary Generated by Built In

At Fayara, we’re building and scaling high-performance digital infrastructure that powers growth across AdTech and MarTech ecosystems. We’re looking for people who are curious, driven, and eager to take ownership in solving complex, high-impact problems.

Location: Limassol, Cyprus

Work model: Hybrid – 3 days per week from the office.

We build and scale high-performance customer acquisition across multiple digital channels. As we continue to grow internationally, Google represents one of our biggest strategic opportunities.

We are building a dedicated Google Media Buying function focused on one of Google's most policy-sensitive verticals.

We're looking for an experienced Google Ads leader who can build this acquisition channel from the ground up. Someone who combines deep Google Ads expertise with commercial ownership, technical excellence, policy knowledge and a builder mentality.

This is not a role where you inherit an existing team or mature operation.

You will create it.

Initially, you'll be fully hands-on launching campaigns, validating acquisition models, solving policy challenges and building profitable growth. Once the channel is proven, you'll recruit, mentor and lead a world-class Google Media Buying team while designing the systems, automation and AI workflows needed to scale efficiently.

If you enjoy building from zero, solving complex acquisition challenges and owning commercial outcomes, we'd like to hear from you.

Role Overview

As Head of Google Acquisition, you will own our organization's entire Google advertising channel.

From strategy through execution, you'll be responsible for campaign performance, profitability, tracking infrastructure, compliance, Google relationships and long-term departmental growth.

You'll work closely with Product, Tech, Commercial, Analytics and Leadership to ensure campaigns, landing pages and products remain compliant while maximising acquisition performance.

Beyond campaign management, you'll build the operational foundation that enables Google to become a scalable and sustainable growth channel for the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and lead the Google Media Buying function

  • Develop, launch and optimise Google Ads campaigns across multiple international markets

  • Own channel profitability, budgets and commercial performance

  • Manage monthly advertising budgets of significant scale

  • Build scalable campaign structures and testing frameworks

  • Work closely with Product and Tech to improve landing pages, funnels and conversion performance

  • Ensure products and campaigns remain compliant with Google Ads policies

  • Lead Google policy discussions, account management and allowlisting processes

  • Build advanced tracking infrastructure including GTM, GA4, Enhanced Conversions and server-side tracking

  • Design reporting, automation and AI-powered workflows to improve efficiency

  • Recruit, mentor and develop the Google Media Buying team as the department grows

Experience
  • 5+ years' experience managing Google Ads campaigns at scale

  • Experience managing monthly budgets of €500,000–€1,000,000+

  • Experience within Dating, Adult, iGaming or other policy-sensitive industries

  • Strong understanding of Google Ads policies and compliance requirements

  • Experience working with allowlisting processes is highly desirable

  • Proven experience scaling campaigns from testing to profitable growth

  • Experience building or leading performance marketing teams

Technical Skills

Google Advertising
  • Google Ads, Google Ads Editor, Google Ads Scripts, Google Ads API

Tracking & Attribution

  • Google Tag Manager (GTM), Server-side GTM, Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Enhanced Conversions, attribution, pixels and postback tracking

Conversion Optimisation

  • Landing page optimisation, CRO and A/B testing

Reporting & Analytics

  • Looker Studio and performance reporting

AI & Automation

  • ChatGPT, Claude, Claude Code, n8n, Make and other AI-powered workflow automation tools

Key Skills & Attributes
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong builder mentality

  • Commercially driven and highly accountable

  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Comfortable operating independently in a fast-moving environment

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Passion for continuous optimisation and experimentation

  • Curious about AI and automation, with a desire to improve how work gets done

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who understands that successful Google acquisition is about far more than launching campaigns.

You understand how policy influences scale. You know how tracking impacts decision making. You recognise that profitable growth comes from continuously improving landing pages, funnels, bidding strategies and campaign structure, not simply increasing spend.

You enjoy solving difficult acquisition challenges, navigating Google's ecosystem and building sustainable competitive advantage.

Most importantly, you're excited by the opportunity to build an entire department from the ground up and leave your mark on one of the company's most important future growth channels.

We value thoughtful applications and review each one carefully. Every application is reviewed by a member of our team. If your experience aligns with what we’re looking for, we’ll be in touch regarding next steps.

Skills Required
