What you can expect​
As the Global Head of Procurement and Sourcing, you will lead our global procurement and sourcing function's strategic vision, operational excellence, and transformation. This is a high-impact role where you will drive cost efficiency, supplier innovation, and risk management across all categories and geographies. You’ll partner with senior leadership to align procurement strategy with business priorities, ensuring a scalable, sustainable, and resilient supply chain supporting our global growth.

Our Procurement and Sourcing team is a critical enabler of business success, ensuring that every dollar we spend delivers maximum value. We are a diverse, collaborative, and forward-thinking team with expertise across strategic sourcing, category management, supplier performance, and contract negotiations. We work closely with stakeholders across Finance, Legal, IT, Operations, Marketing, HR, and Product to support business objectives and create competitive advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Defining and executing a global procurement and sourcing strategy aligned with corporate goals, balancing cost efficiency, supplier innovation, sustainability, and risk mitigation.
  • Leading, inspiring, and developing a high-performing global team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Establishing category management strategies across technology, telecom, hardware, data centers, software, and professional services.
  • Building partnerships with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and delivering solutions that enable growth and scalability.
  • Driving digital procurement transformation, leveraging data, automation, and analytics to improve visibility, decision-making, and efficiency.
  • Negotiating enterprise-level agreements and managing supplier relationships to optimize value, performance, and compliance.
  • Overseeing the procurement operations function, including PO lifecycle, invoice resolution, contract management, and compliance.
  • Implementing governance frameworks, policies, and controls to ensure ethical sourcing, contract compliance, and risk management.
  • Developing and managing procurement budgets, savings targets, and performance metrics to demonstrate measurable impact.
What we’re looking for
  • 15+ years of procurement experience, with at least 7+ years in a senior leadership role in a high-growth or global technology company.
  • Proven track record in developing and executing global procurement and sourcing strategies in a complex, fast-paced environment.
  • Deep expertise in category management (software/SaaS, telecom, hardware, data centers, marketing and professional services), supplier negotiations, and contract management across both indirect and direct spend.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to influence C-level stakeholders and build cross-functional partnerships.
  • Experience leading digital procurement transformation, including systems, automation, and analytics.
  • Demonstrated success in driving measurable cost savings while enabling innovation and business growth.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to attract, develop, and retain top talent in a global team.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and change management skills.
  • Commitment to ethical sourcing and advancing sustainability/ESG initiatives.

Salary Range or On Target Earnings:

Minimum:

$184,300.00

Maximum:

$403,200.00

In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value.

Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.

We also have a location based compensation structure;  there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations
