Purpose and Scope:
The Head, Global Pricing Systems is responsible for the strategic oversight, governance, and continuous improvement of pricing systems for all Strategic and Established Brands. This role ensures global pricing platforms are standardized, compliant, and optimized to support diverse market requirements while enabling accurate, efficient, and transparent pricing process as associated governance. The position includes leadership responsibilities for managing a global team of system specialists and driving cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Drive the development and maintenance of analytical tools, the global pricing database, and the electronic price approvals system, and managing relationships with third-party vendors
- Ensure compliance of all global, regional, and market pricing activities with regulatory agencies, public policies, guidelines, and corporate policies and procedures
- Managing the operational aspects of the team, including budget, performance, and compliance. Providing coaching and feedback, and having meaningful career development conversations with team members
- Ensure internal alignment with cross functional partners to optimise deliver of tools and material in support of affiliate pricing, reimbursement and access.
- Review and sign-off of IRP analyses to support pricing decision making and Act as Secretariat for the Global Pricing Committee.
- Drive global process harmonization for pricing workflows, balancing standardization with local market needs.
- Identify opportunities for automation and digital transformation within pricing operations.
- Collaborate with global and regional, Market Access, Finance, and Commercial teams to align system capabilities with strategic objectives.
- Develop and deliver global training programs for system users, ensuring adoption and proficiency.
Required Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge and experience around the relevant field such as Market Access, Pricing or Finance.
- Collaborates effectively with internal partners across the cross functional team.
Preferred Qualification:
- MBA and / or CPA / CIMA and / or equivalent certificates (or qualified by experience)
- Multi-therapeutic area experience across oncology and specialty therapy areas
