The Ethics & Business Integrity (E&BI) department stands as the cornerstone of Sanofi's commitment to promoting and sustaining ethics and integrity across all our activities. Main responsibilities:


  • Evolve Sanofi's Code of Conduct, leading all updates in partnership with senior leadership, focused on remaining current, accessible, and culturally resonant across all geographies.  This includes global rollout communications and training. 
  • Oversee mandatory Global Compliance Learning modules, including cross-functional and strategy and coordination, manage governance, overseeing the non-completion process, including coordination with P&C, exemption management, and confidential data sharing with appropriate safeguards. 
  • Lead the design and deployment of global compliance learning programs - grounded in adult learning principles, including needs analysis, instructional design, scenario-based content, microlearning, and effectiveness measurement. This includes overseeing the relationship with strategic learning service providers, developing the annual E&BI Learning Plan, and strategic distribution of assignments including a dedicated onboarding compliance learning track for new hires. 
  • Drive the global E&BI communications strategy and calendar, overseeing the design and delivery of proactive, compliance communications that reinforce a culture of ethics and integrity. 
  • Leverage AI and advanced learning analytics to lead the modernization and continuous improvement of a data driven compliance learning ecosystem by enhancing content development, personalizing learning experiences, identifying knowledge gaps, targeting remediation efforts, measuring training effectiveness, and demonstrating measurable impact. 
  • Support regional/local compliance teams by providing strategic guidance, tools, resources, and expertise to enable effective delivery of learning programs aligned with global standards. 
  • Set the global strategy for E&BI principles and Global Operating Procedures, overseeing the development, publication, and lifecycle management of key EBI documents with Global Risk Owners (GROs) and Global Process Owners. Support GROs outside EBI in their development of principles aligned to Sanofi’s Code of Conduct 
  • Represent the compliance learning specialized segment within the Sanofi learning ecosystem participating in the Enterprise Learning Advisory Board (ELAB) in alignment with federated learning model.  
  • Oversee global conflict of interest and disclosure programs, including integration of employees from newly acquired companies, streamlining disclosure cycles, and reconciliation processes. 
  • Work with the Risk Management team and Global Risk Owners to align compliance learning priorities with enterprise risk assessments, gather learning needs, and ensure consistent engagement of GROs across the annual planning and content development lifecycle. 
  • Lead and develop a high-performing global team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement across regions 

Key Interfaces: EBI Leadership and broader team, Global Risk Owners, Risk Management, P&C (Learning, Global Social Relations, Reward and Performance), Global Learning Services, and Global Process Owner Governance 


About You

  • Proven experience leading global compliance principles and learning programs in healthcare, life sciences or similarly highly regulated industries, with deep knowledge of topics including bribery, corruption, conflicts of interest, fraud, and industry codes
  • Demonstrated expertise in adult learning principles and instructional design, with hands-on experience managing learning management systems (LMS) and leveraging assessment analytics to improve training effectiveness, while continuously seeking innovative approaches to make learning more engaging, relevant, concise, and impactful for global audiences. 
  • Familiarity with AI tools and their application to compliance learning — including content generation, automation, and data-driven personalization 
  • Experience designing concise, effective compliance principles, procedures, and guidance, with a proven track record of owning and evolving enterprise-wide compliance frameworks, including Codes of Conduct, global principles, and procedures. 
  • Proven ability to collaborate across functions, including on sensitive processes such as conflict of interest and building cross-functional stakeholder communities in a global, matrixed organization
  • Ability to lead and influence in a large, complex, global matrixed organization, with experience presenting to and advising senior executives 
  • Minimum 10–12 years of experience in life sciences, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or compliance, with significant experience managing global teams and programs 
  • Education: Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred

The salary range for this position is :€114.800,00 - €153.067

Final compensation will be determined based on demonstrated experience, skills, location, and other relevant factors. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs.
